Courtyard by Marriott Shippensburg

The pool was out of service and this was not informed at check in. My kids were very disappointed.

Stayed here with the family for a night and I’d use this location again. Not too far off the highway and right next to the university. The university was out for the semester but I’d imagine traffic would be much heavier during the school year. Staff were friendly, the grounds were well kept, and the room was clean and in excellent condition. There’s a Starbucks and an eating spot I. The hotel but we didn’t make use of either. Room was quiet but the ac took a bit to cool down the room to my polar bear standard.

Very nice place. Always enjoy the outside gas fire pit in the evening with family and other guests.

Great place to stay! Friendly staff! Clean. Bummer the hot tub wasn’t working but the kids enjoyed the pool.

I wanted a place where the immediate family could come back and relax after the funeral activities were over. The lobby space was huge with tons of couches and chairs and there was a great bar and restaurant. We were able to retreat to this community area and just relax, eat and reflect. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. The staff was so friendly and accommodated all of our needs while we were there. The shrimp and grits were amazing! The Fresh Margarita was tasty too! This is a great pick.

Nice hotel near campus, would be a good place for a family visiting to stay.
