Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carlisle Southwest – I-81, an IHG Hotel

First location location location. This hotel is in an office building complex, but right across the Main Street are several restaurants, shops, bars, anything pretty much you need. Very clean, very friendly, very professional, safe and great rate. We were there with several Baseball families for a tournament and we had a great time. Breakfast was impressive the first morning, but the second morning they ran out of food rather quickly. However, would stay there again highly recommend.

Room was spacious and clean and bigger than we anticipated. The staff were so sweet and welcoming. Definitely staying here again when we’re in the Carlisle area! We had three littles in tow — very accommodating to kiddos.

We stayed here for a district swim meet. The staff could not have been more hospitable. They started breakfast at 6:00am instead of 6:30am, so the kids could have breakfast before the swim meet. The rooms were clean, comfortable and close to everything we needed. We will stay there again next year!

My stay was great! The room was clean, the staff was friendly. The children emjoyed the pool.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and we keep coming back because the rooms are very clean and the lobby is also very clean. The staff is very nice and I have never had a problem with checking in. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

The woman who helped us check in was very nice. We were very happy with the beds and layout of the room. It was very comfortable and convenient for our family of 3. We would have been happy to stay for longer.

My family and I booked at this hotel for a couple nights to visit Gettysburg and Washington DC. We were very disappointed at the level at the cleanliness of the hotel. The bathroom toilet had a ring in it. How long does it take for a ring to build up in a toilet? If there is a ring in the toilet how clean can the rest of the hotel be? The fan above the toilet was filthy. It was covered in dirty and looking like it was building mold around it. Again , if the bathroom had this much dirt how clean could the rest of the room or breakfast area even be? We talked to the front desk and they said they would clean it, but it was never cleaned in our two days of staying there. We let them know and they apologized but could not offer a refund since we booked through hotels.com. We have called hotels.com and they have not helped one bit with any of this only made it more frustrating by keeping us on hold for hours on end. We never leave a review or usually complain, but in todays world with health and cleanliness on everyone’s mind we should not have to pay for this type of hotel on a family vacation.
