Staff was excellent and extremely helpful but the property did not measure up to autograph standards. There was peeling paint on the ceiling of the shower in addition to a hard stain/burn on the carpet. My junior suite was awkwardly arranged such as very little closet space and poor lighting.

Our check-in process was seamless and super fast; valet parking was reasonable and very easy (not cheap but on par with the neighborhood). Room was clean, stylish and well sized (family of 4) and appointed with coffee, etc. Location is good -- walkable to Rittenhouse restaurants and Reading Terminal Market (which was great for breakfast) and would have been walkable to Independence Square but the weather didn't cooperate. Not on the hotel, but just a warning that we took the subway from the station right across from the hotel (we're from NY so are very comfortable with public transport) and sadly it did not feel safe with our kids -- open drug use, etc.

I booked 2 rooms together for my husband and I and our kids. When we got to the hotel they said the rooms are on different floors. They wanted me to leave my kids on a totally different floor. So they downgraded my room my a lot to be on the same floor a few rooms apart and they still charged me the same price.

My family loved everything about our stay here. It was convenient, the staff was top-notch, we were able to leave our car there until 6pm the day we checked out, room service was delicious, and the room itself was huge and comfortable.

the location is good, walk to the reading market and city hall. but I don't know how this hotel is rated a four-star hotel, the facilities are poor, not much choice for breakfast or dining. the staff was not friendly, I stayed for four nights with my family of four, and for two nights only offered two bath towels. I have to call the service and ask for two more towels. as well as the coffee, if I don't ask, they don't refill the coffee pill for the machine. the valet service cost me $63 per night, the staff was rude and I have to wait 30 mins plus. so I notify the front desk that I will not using the valet for the rest of my stay. but found out I've been charged for four nights of valet service while I checking out. It took them 20 mins to figure out how to remove the charge from my bill. will not consider this hotel again.

Had to switch hotels on the fly. My previous reservation at another hotel a few blocks away was horrible. So my family and I walked here and the service was impeccable.

I booked queen beds and was given a room with double beds. As a family, it was very uncomfortable to share these small beds and none of us got a good night’s sleep.
