Hampton Inn Carlisle

The hotel was fine. Our room was a little dark and the kids playing in the hallways were a little annoying, but overall it was a good trip.

We had just recently stayed here about a month ago. The guy at the front desk actually recognized us, despite only having briefly talked during the check-in process and when purchasing some items from the hotel convenience store. It's a bit of a drive from where we had an event we were going to, but the quality of the hotel makes it worth the longer drive to/from the event. All of the staff is very polite and helpful. The TV service also includes Disney Jr. which is nice. Hotels often advertise HBO and other premium movie channels, but no one ever says anything about channels for the kids. The only complaint I have is that the hot tub only has a couple of jets that don't seem very powerful as it doesn't seem to move the water as much as most other hot tubs, but the water temperature is great. Even the pool is a nice warmer temperature. (Not bathwater warm as my wife will complain, but definitely warmer than most hotel pools.) Made it quick to adjust. Though, when getting in after the hot tub, it definitely feels a bit cold for a minute or two.

Friendly staff, clean environment, nice bathroom with plenty of towels, excellent pool and hot tub (pleasant surprise) and a night light for my kid to place in the bathroom. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in the lobby at all hours.
