Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Carlisle, PA

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I'd made the reservation in a hurry, around 3:00 AM, while driving from Vermont to North Carolina because of a death in the family. I'd not had time to research the hotel, and had assumed the room's low price indicated a subpar facility. I could not have been more wrong. A very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I was impressed. (One more thing: while the hotel itself is very nice, its location -- next to an interstate -- might not please everyone with a room on that side of the building. Still, I definitely recommend this hotel.)

The pool wasn’t open, staff was not helpful when asked if it would be for our kids to use.

We showed up and checked in, got right into our bathing suits just to show up to a closed pool. We were not notified at check-in. Then we went back to the room and the wifi wouldn't work. When we inquired, we were told "yeah it sucks". Ours kids were bummed out. The room itself was standard and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was, meh. I don't think we will stay again, there are better options for that price.

It was a nice place and clean which is very important but very expensive! We were there for the GM nationals and I think it’s price gouging when they charge what most are charging during an event which makes it hard for lower income families to afford!

The room was clean and everything about the room was great. Breakfast was decent and the free coffee and cookies all the time was much appreciated! The hotel is doing some renovations and updates which it looks like it needed (like finishings around the floor like the trimming etc.) Really disappointed that they got rid of their hot tub although it is still advertised as having one; it was one of the main reasons I booked that hotel over others. The kids loved the pool though, so at least they enjoyed themselves. I would stay again though. Thanks for a nice stay!

Dpg unleashed dogs jumping all over kids at breakfast. Staff was rude.

Staff was very nice. Room and surroundings were clean. Toilets all need repair (age I imagine) and water pressure in the sink was awful, but shower water pressure was good. Pillows we’re awful (must remember to bring our own next time). Pool wasn’t heated but kids liked that there were pool toys to play with. Otherwise the hotel was good. Great price close to the Carlisle Fairgrounds. We would stay again.
