Hampton Inn Pendleton

The room, beds and bathroom were great. My family of two adults and three young children were very comfortable in the room. My complaint is about the pool. The pool water was very cold. The air temperature in the pool room was extremely cold as well. We made the reservation at this hotel specifically to enjoy the pool and unfortunately, our children were so cold we didn't want to stay in the water longer than ten minutes. It was very disappointing.

Overall it is a was a nice place to stay. Spent two night there. Downside, if you need to use the desk, you probably need to be around 6ft 5in. or taller. The chair provided has no height to it. I am 6ft tall and felt like little kid sitting the big table. I'm not sure if the hotel has a full-time maintenance staff. It snowed the first night and no one cleared the sidewalks the next morning. The last morning there, it was freezing rain and no sand, salt or anything was applied to the sidewalks and you pretty much slid to your vehicle, that is, if you didn't fall on your buttocks. It not only made it a challenge to get to your vehicle but, it was also difficult to get back in the hotel.

We stayed one night here on the return of a 2 week family vacation. This was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip and also the least expensive. It was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again next time we pass through Pendleton.
