Riverside Inn

Pro: amazing views and privacy. Nice walking path out the door. Very comfortable beds. Con: the queen bed was not a full queen size, it was a ‘motel’ queen size which is a bit smaller like a double. In their defense online did say it sleeps 4 comfortably and that’s true for the double queen room, but we had 5 with two adults, 2 small kids and a baby. The baby made it too tight to fit or get any sleep. If you’re trying to sleep more than 4 at this place I wouldn’t recommend it unless you bring a cot or sleep on the floor. Too tight for 3 on a bed, even 3 kids.

Great location and exceptionally friendly staff make this fairly tired and run down property tolerable. We were assigned a lower floor room with our two dogs, which is normal and fine. But the constant banging and stomping on the floor above us was intolerable (young kids). The front desk staff could not have been more accommodating, finding us another room down the hall that was peaceful and quiet. Nice breakfast in the am with fresh waffles and a friendly server. I feel bad for the staff having to make up for the owner’s seeming inattention to renovations and updates. I suspect the owner(s) may be elderly and think it’s good enough.The decor is basically 50 years old - beds clean, great view of river, but what a missed opportunity - would be better to sell the property to someone with resources and inclination to modernize, lighten rooms, and replace ALL the furniture. This place could be so much more appealing with proper upgrades and renovations. Again, I want to complement the staff on making lemonade out of lemons - really nice and professional. I hope the owners are paying them well as they deserve to be.

Wonderful 4 days & 3 nights. We slept with the sliding door open to hear the sound of the Rogue River. The Duck families, Geese & birds diving for fish/breakfast made coffee on the deck breathtaking. The dining room, food & service was top notch. ALL the staff were friendly, helpful & respectful. A , 5☆, we'll definitely come again. Thank you.

My family and I rented 6 rooms, my son got married not far from the hotel. EVERYONE had a smile, asked if there was anything we need, how are you guys doing. The manager of this property is doing an EXCELLENT JOB!!! THANK YOU TO THE STAFF AT THE LODGE!!

I have stayed here a few times when visiting family and I have never had a problem or complaint. I will continue to stay here

Accomodations and customer service was AWESOME. We were here for a family emergency and they took great care. Excellent breakfast and patio for our large dogs. Definitely would come here again.

We enjoyed the quieter atmosphere and just the overall vibe of the place. Not only that but how helpful the staff were and that is why we prefer staying at Riverside Inn every time we go to Oregon to visit our family.

Loved our stay! Pros: friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast with waffle bar, nice view of the river from our third story room, pool was heated and the hotel grounds were well lit with romantic string lights, felt very safe Cons: it was 10-15 minutes from the freeway, but well worth the drive! The dining area was a tight fit in the morning, it felt crowded with two kids but we could easily take breakfast to our room. Really no complaints, we will definitely stay here again!

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful property and comfy, well appointed rooms. The breakfast is very good and my kids had fun in the pool. Beer and wine available for purchase for reasonable prices, and the deck views of the river are great. Finally, EV chargers (2x J-1772) are free and functional. Will be back.

It’s close to our kids and a quiet place to stay with a great view. The staff is always kind and helpful. Loved the popcorn in the lobby
