La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Grants Pass

We had a late check in, the front desk gentlemen was very nice. The room was a ADA unit which was fine but unnecessary. It would have been nice to have a different room. It was also immediately by the dining area so was very noisy and busy. The food staff was not very helpful as there was no butter, they ran out!! The other items you might need for toast we not available unless you went into the tiny refrigerator and got them yourself. There was no fruit and the coffee was colored water and almost empty. I got the last cup. Every was very sparse. One person came over to escort the kids whos plates were puled high and they were eating in front of the toaster. Which was helpful to move them along for others to get a piece of toast since there was nothing else to eat. How do you run out of the essentials? you only do breakfast.? This is poor management I drive this route monthly but will not stay here again. Overpriced, and not worth it.

The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful, so sweet to our kiddos, he just went above & beyond throughout our stay. It’s really a gem to have service like that!

Front desk check in was smooth and easy. The woman at the desk gave me and my daughters family adjacent rooms as requested. She was wonderfully delightful and efficient. Very nice to deal with.

This hotel is our favorite because of the clean indoor pool! The kids love it. We stop here about twice a year when we travel from Washington to California. Love it!

Reserved a king room for the weekend to visit family. On arrival we walked into our room and was hit with a pungent wet dog smell. We asked for a different room because it wasn’t tolerable. They downgraded the room to a much smaller one with a queen bed. At the end of our stay we asked them if an adjustment could be made because the price difference of a smaller room. They told me they could do nothing because I booked it through a 3 rd party. We probably would not stay or recommend this hotel to anyone we know.

Still probably the best option in Grants Pass for an upscale feel hotel - brought the grandkids this time instead of staying in one of the suites as a couple and it was still enjoyable - the pool and breakfast were perfect for our needs with them.

Everything was great. Except for parking. Each time we arrived back from family visits, late and tired there was no parking in their free parking lot that came with our room. We were told to park in the street. 😞 The area is ok, but a lot of homeless and drug and prostitution across the main street in the alleyway. So the safety of my vehicle was a concern for me. Unfortunately the staff aren't sympathetic enough to checj vehicles to make sure it was only guests parked in the lot. We found later that a lot of parking came available because guest of guest left and were using the hotel lot to park. That would be fine, if there was adequate parking for paying guest in the first place. There were also 2 spots being taken up by a utility trailer and a vehicle that appeared to be broken down with tabs expired from December 2022. It was taking up a handicap parking space. (In witch I have handicap parking privileges, as I am handicap). Overall the place is nice. I don't believe they charged me for my dogs. That was sort of strange. Normally the La Quinta charge I believe 25.00 per dog. So that was a hudge plus. Our room was clean but had a odor of old smoke about it. Faint but when you first walk in you noticed it. From staff was extremely friendly and you can tell they wanted to be there. Pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Pool is heated, he said it was 87 degrees.

wonderful one night stay passing through the front desk was awesome helpful and accommodating! the room was exactly what we needed for me my wife and 3 kids the pool was clean our stay was perfect and the cookies were awesome

There was absolutely nothing about this property that our family didn't like, not a thing. The free breakfast was most definitely above average, but we CAN NOT say enough about OSCAR. He really needs recognition for going above and beyond for his customers/hotel guests!

Customer Service here is great. Good breakfast spread and fresh baked cookies at night. My kids had a blast in the pool. Room has everything you need, but nothing too fancy.
