Holiday Inn Express & Suites Stillwater - University Area, an IHG Hotel

It was great! Came for the Mid South and they were so accommodating, setting up early check in so our child could take a nap and offering early breakfast for the riders on the day of the race!

Ants all over the breakfast buffet, room could have been cleaner, customer service was terrible, off the clock employees at the pool smoking weed with their kids.

It didn’t feel professional at all. When we walked in there were barefoot kids hanging out in the lobby and running in and out of the kitchen area. I assume they were children of the staff. They were there through the day and into the night. The man who was working the desk was in a T-shirt with the sleeves cut off and I think a skull on it. Not the normal professional attire that I’ve had in the past. It would have been nice if he was at least wearing name tags or something to indicate he was employed there. Also there were flies all over the front desk. When we got to our rooms all of the bedding was wet. In our second room it was so wet they asked to be moved. In the room I was in all of the bedding was damp but we didn’t want to be a problem so we just slept on it. Also, there was hair from the previous guest all throughout the bathroom. We have stayed at many Holiday Inns in the past but we will be choosing a different hotel next time.

When I arrived room was not ready I asked why concierge was rude to me . When I tried to tried to ask why concierge threaten to call the police . He told me my wife and child could stay and I couldn’t. Then he told me he canceled my reservation .

Hotel wasn’t very clean. Some of the employee looked dirty, not very good hygiene. The continental breakfast was a joke….. nothing to drink pancake machine broken and the gentleman bringing out the food was not clean and was wearing the same gloves all over the hotel back and forth. Just not very happy with my stay. I was there for orientation with my kid at OSU so I will be making frequent trips to Stillwater but will not use this hotel again.
