Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Perry, an IHG Hotel

The only complaint from any of my family was that the bed was a bit too firm than they liked, but they were good beds, just not the firmness preference. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very professional and friendly.

Betty the sweet lady that checked us in was amazing and extremely accommodating. She had 3 families checking in at the same time and was very friendly and personable. The facility is clean and maintained well. Overall great experience.

The pool is not available as advertised. That was a bummer for my kids as this was the reason that we picked to stay here. Our tv quit working and the front desk clerk didn’t know how to fix it. She said that she would call someone and ask but then we never heard from anyone. The place is under construction and will be beautiful when it is completed. However you will need to walk through the construction to get to your room. Our room was clean but did smell like paint. Whew!

Worst stay I’ve had in a while at a hotel. Get off the elevator to go to my room and greeted with the smell of weed up and down the hall. I take luggage cart back and go back up to my room and a the smell of dog poop filled the hallway. Walls of the room were scuffed and the comforter on the bed had ink pen markings all over it from a kid drawing on the bed. Second night either there was a dog next door snoring or pipe issues in the wall that kept us up a lot. We turned the heater on and it smelt like it was going to catch fire because no one had run it before the cold weather to make sure it worked. We turn it off immediately. They have been supposedly be renovating this hotel for what seems like 2 yrs now. I hate to complain but it was not a great stay. Staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable is the only positive things about the place.

Nice big room, pull out couch was probably more comfortable for kids than adults.

Looks good from the street. Get close and go inside and it looks as if its under construction. Half the staff act like they dont want to be there! They had no respect when my door key stopped working. Treated me like it was my fault. Place stinks and it sticks to your clothes. Clock was broke, the cable box was hanging from the tv, the bathroom was dirty and the toilet seat was flopping around. Blinds look like a kid with cheese fingrs was playing with it. I would say stay away from this one. Probably the worst Holiday Inn i have ever been to. Probably the worst hotel ever. Wish i could get a refund. I have a video but wont let me post.

The hotel was nice. But sorry I think the person at the front desk should be dressed more professional. When we checked out the kid looked like he hadn't brushed his hair in several days
