Wingate by Wyndham Charlotte Airport I-85/I-485

Letecia and Linda were very helpful. It was a family gathering and family were coming in at different times. Leteica made it a warm and inviting arrival. I can't thank her enough. She even repaired an entrance door to one of the rooms. The family had a wonderful time. It is a very inviting hotel and great location.

My family booked this hotel because it had a shuttle to and from the airport. We waited for the shuttle for an hour and a half and when the shuttle arrived, we couldn't get on because it was full. The female shuttle driver was extremely rude and disrespectful. We had to wait another 45 minutes for her to come back. She refused to help us with our bags. There was an elderly couple, who had also been waiting for her to come a second time. They tried to flag her down and the driver saw them. Instead of stopping, she yelled " I not fuc**ing stopping now." This couple was in their 80s and it was only me and my son in the van. This shuttle driver should not be around people!! We had another shuttle driver to the airport in the morning and he was very, very nice! The front desk agent was also very nice. However, it didn't make up for the poor, poor service given by the shuttle driver!

Great location to the airport. Hotel is dated. Could use a facelift. Facility was clean. Room was nice and clean. Bed was not the best and on the firmer side. Heat kept making a noise sounding like someone was knocking on our door. Could warn folks about that or even yet fix that issue. Could hear the room next door and baby crying.

A nice Mexican family resturaunt is a 3 minute walk up a hill from the hotel. BIG portions.

My flight from Charlotte international was canceled so I stayed at your hotel with my two grandchildren. I thought your breakfast was poor. There should’ve been more offerings but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Staff was so nice, friendly and welcoming! Very helpful providing transportation to and from airport. We found stains on the ottoman, bed sheets were warn out from over use. We ended up not staying the nite, my children were very upset with the inappropriateness of some of the behavior of the hotel guests. We ended up going to another hotel.

I was so thrilled with our stay here. Everything was very clean. The room/hall didn’t have that nasty hotel smell. Room service cleaned my room daily (Something I’ve noticed doesn’t happen as much since COVID) They even folded my personal blankets I’d brought. We stayed for 4 days. The bed was more comfortable than my tempurpedic at home. The sheets were so soft, I thought to ask to buy some. The shower was hot, with great water pressure. The front desk, especially Latisha, was so friendly and hospitable. She remembered my childrens names and greeted them daily. She would come and open the back door for us (where the electric vehicle charger was) so we wouldn’t have to walk around. There were cameras in the parking lot, so vehicles felt secured. Not that the area felt bad, but it’s nice to have the extra security anyhow. I would absolutely stay here again. For the price, I’m amazed at the quality. Also, electric vehicle charger, and included breakfast!

We are a family of 4 and we only stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel is really close to the airport and offers free shuttle which we appreciate. What we love about this hotel is the staff and the fact that it’s quiet! No disturbances whatsoever. The Mexican restaurant next door is highly recommended as well most specially if you have a late night arrival. Thank you so much to Miss Latesha and Rey for your hospitality!

Shuttle service doesn't start early enough for those of us who have to be at the airport by 4:00am Thankfully the manager went above and beyond and drove my family and another family. That was awesome!

Stayed here before boarding a flight in CLT the next morning. Served it’s purpose well for us and our 2 children.
