Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse Destiny USA

The hotel was nice and very clean. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was great. The gentleman they had there working the grill was wonderful he interacted with everyone. My only complaint was that they placed our room next to a family with screaming kids. You could hear everything. There weren’t many people staying at the hotel, I felt that was avoidable.

We travel a lot- this is at the bottom of our hotels. (We have stayed at some peaches…) Staff did nothing to make our stay easier (we hoped to check in an hour early due to our state gymnastic competition). They offered a the pool bathroom to get changed. All rooms needed cleaning before we could check in- Well- that didn’t happen. Stains on the rugs, stains on the wall covering, crumbs left on the nightstands. Room was spacious and kids enjoyed- but I would never stay there and would never recommend to another traveler.

Went to watch the eclipse here the hotel was extremely clean friendly and just a great location with the mall across the street to keep the kids busy.

Check in was a breeze, super friendly.Loved the room set up. Breakfast was good. The pool experience was horrible. There were over 40 African American kids doing flips and throwing balls, very inconsiderate. When we went to the desk to complain the staff was aware and waiting on security to shut it down. That isn’t fair to family’s who have paid for a pool and that can follow rules. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was for a pool being open till 10 and we weren’t even able to enjoy it. Sad kids that had planned for a pool experience.

Property is clean and well maintained. Check in was terrible, we checked in during their social hour and the bar was so loud we couldn’t hear the girl at the front desk. She checked us in but the amount was over $100 over our booked price and she said that $200 was for coverage if the room was damaged and would come off the total room price but it doesn’t seem to add up, however I may have heard her wrong since it was so loud in the reception area I could barely hear her. The pool was clean but no towels and when I went to ask for some the front desk wasn’t the friendliest but her co-worker was. It took another 15-20 minutes before we actually got the towels. Parents also left their young children unattended to go back to the bar and would come back and check every 20 minutes or so. This is definitely more of a guests not following rules problem but made enjoying the pool with my family difficult as the kids constantly ran around and jumped in the rather shallow end, and as a mom I was nervous for the other children. The breakfast food was great but again the atmosphere was very loud. The made to order egg chef was very loud trying to announce you get made to order eggs almost like a carnival game employee trying to get you to play. The common areas smelt of pot and cigarette smoke. At checkout I asked for an email receipt but it’s been hours and I did not receive one so I still don’t have answers to the first check in price question.

Staff was great, fast and respectable with any needs/request we made during our stay. Love that it was kid friendly, and relaxing for our whole family.

The breakfast and chef were great as were all the staff. Very accommodating. Pool can get packed fast and is very loud at times but we had kids adding to the mix

Great experience after the kids went to bed at 7pm.

The first front desk reception clerk we had was Not very pleasant. However the send front desk reception clerk we encountered was amazing. The room was beautiful and spacious and the beds were so comfy. The pool was on the small side but warm so the kids loved it. The chef was the icing on the top though. The breakfast special was amazing and he was so energetic.

Very nice hotel, new, clean and modern. Great sized room for family of 4 and the happy hour was a nice surprise bonus. Great location as we were there for the destiny 🇺🇸 mall. Would definitely stay again
