Hyatt Place Secaucus/Meadowlands

Great place to stay with kids, has excellent service and good location for taking a bus to Manhattan!

I stayed with my family of five for three days and the service and facility was very good. Although we stayed in New Jersey, the 320 bus from front of the hotel took you to Manhattan within 25 minutes. The parking facility was also good

Construction right under neath my room and at 8 in the morning with 3 kids. And elevator took forever cause workers were holding it reception was unreasonable

Very bad experience room was not clean and my kids found a BUG. it was a bad experience and the room floor was not clean. not recommending anyone to stay there.

Last leg of our trip, 2 night stay, front desk and/or bar understaffed, though customer service was great, breakfast bar had a variety. Convenient to NY, but likely wouldn't stay again, due to the room layout not making much sense, as far as kid friendly, separate areas divided by a partial wall, so we had to hear and see the tv all night, not exactly what I like.

Wonderful hotel. Room was perfect for are family of 4. Pull out bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious!

The room was very small and set up was not accommodating for a family. If you tried to sleep you heard every thing from hallway and other rooms. I have slept in cheaper places with better accommodations. Definitely not worth the money!

It was a great stay! I’d say a solid 4 out of 5. The room is a perfect size for a family with kids. Our room had a L-shaped couch that turned into a full size bed, in addition to the two beds already in the room. There were also two sinks. One of which was in a “mini-bar area” with a coffee maker and a mini-fridge. The staff is very accommodating, quick, and friendly! My only beef was that the room was not as clean as I hoped. The bathroom sink was clogged. There was visible fingerprints, dust/dirt, possible mold in the shower and the headboards had some smudges. I carry wipes with me, so I wiped them down. The lobby area has a dining area, a lounge area and a computer for customer use. They do offer a free breakfast. The best part of this hotel is the location!! There are several bus stops that take you to different places in NJ and take you to NY. There’s several dining and retail shops around the hotel, some of which are walking distance. One last thing, there was ongoing construction throughout the hotel, that started at 8 am and we heard it on the 6th floor. Overall, it’s a convenient hotel and I would consider staying here again.

Came in with family & stayed for one night prior to embarking on a cruise out of Brooklyn. Convenient to park for free while we were away for a week. Clean hotel, felt safe also. Will definitely stay again next year for our next cruise.

The area is quite nice for morning or evening walks. The hotel itself is overrated and over priced. Cleaning service is provided only upon request. We were not informed during check in. On the 3rd day we complained to front desk and were informed that it is because we did not ask for cleaning. So, we made a request. Still, they did not come until the 5th day. We were 2 adults and 3 kids and no cleaning and no supplies in the room for us to clean ourselves!! It was not nice. Our card was charged $50 security deposit only. It will be refunded back to card on check-out they said. Then check out day they said they will take $35 out of the $50 for check in service and refund $15 back to card. What is check in service? Why was it disguised as security deposit? Is it handing the room key to us? We dragged our luggages to our room by ourselves. This is a hotel that charges you for your stay upfront. Does not clean your room, does not change your sheets and takes money from your card at the point of exit when your cab is already stationed at the door and you do not have time to argue.
