Noise from the highway and kids upstairs - soundproofing would definitely increase the number of great reviews for this property

The one gripe I had was that the family above me had small children who ran and jumped all night keeping us up.

Not a great experience to say the least. Our room was lovely and we were very pleased with that. The customer service at this hotel is awful. The staff is rude and not accommodating. We complained multiple times because there were people being disruptive above us way past quiet hours: loud, stomping, running — sounded like they were bowling. We politely complained multiple times asking for them to be given a noise warning since it was after 10pm and the warnings were never given (and I know this because one of the men at the desk told me they weren’t). We spoke with a supervisor who told us we “should’ve complained sooner than before checkout” WHICH WE HAD DONE multiple times throughout our stay so I’m not sure where she was getting her information from. She was EXTREMELY rude to us, told us the noises were probably kids and that they don’t know when families are bringing kids. She also told us it wasn’t her problem. This stay was due to my father being in the hospital for a major surgery. We were drained from being in a hospital for two 8 hr days and then coming back to two nights that were far from restful was infuriating. Extremely disappointed that we were dismissed when we spoke up and made to feel like the noises were OUR fault. To top it off, we had brown water and couldn’t shower or brush our teeth because they were having sewage issues. For the cost of the hotel, these issues shouldn’t be happening. Not worth the cost.

We stayed here 2 nights while taking a look at Rutgers for my daughter. We had the 1 bedroom, 2 queen suite. Our room was on the first floor end. Expected to hear traffic from the highway but didn’t. The ceilings in our room were so tall that it made our room feel huge. Pulled out the sleeper sofa and besides a tiny dead spider it was clean under the sofa. That’s usually skipped in house keeping so I was pleasantly surprised. The mattress for the pull out is a real nice thick mattress which was a lot more comfortable then any we’ve used before. The pool area was nice and clean. Breakfast was ordinary with premade sandwiches, pastries, yogurt, toast, bagels, oatmeal and waffles. I think the waffle batter was whole grain-would’ve rather it been regular. Our only complaints are that the hot water in the shower does not get as hot as I’d like. It was slightly above warm. My son and husband also tried out the pool (the reason why we booked here) but it was too cold. Tried again the second night and still to cold. You won’t see many kids in it for this reason. They did have a pool party our second night. It seems they rent it out for parties. Those kids got in so I guess in numbers maybe it warms up some? The gas station on the other side of it is easier to walk to then I thought. Ran over to grab some snacks. Overall we’d def stay here again if visiting the area.

From the minute I walked into my room, I felt right at home. The full-sized kitchen with dishwasher and big refrigerator/freezer blew my mind. The size of the room and the storage space was incredible. The entire room and bathroom was spotless. I slept like a baby in the queen sized bed (and the room had two queen beds). Breakfast was delicious!! 24 hour gym and late night indoor pool was a plus. I will definitely return using any excuse I can find. L Barnes

Stayed overnight and have been here in the past. Ended up in a King Suite handicap, which was huge. Part of the ceiling is like 15 ft high. Mini kitchen, just no stove. Sectional sofa and small table to eat at in Kitchen/living room. King bedroom had a small chair in corner and one end table. Curtains on electric motor for handicap use. Bathroom had roll in shower and was otherwise handicap friendly. Only problem we had was living room TV did not work and manager came twice to work on it. Also, lots of kids running in hallway and above bedroom. But all stopped by 9 pm. Breakfast just a little better than other hotels in same class. At least good coffee all day. Be careful, limited parking and if full you have to park across the street at a sushi restaurant.

This was a nice property. Front desk person was great and personable. I’ve stayed at a home2suites in Florida so I knew the setup would be the same. Rooms were clean and spacious. Nice kitchen set up with all the appliances needed. Would definitely recommend for families or extended stay guest.
