Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District

This hotel is understaffed in all areas starting with reception. Multiple times we stood and waited at the bell desk with our luggage as the reception staff just stared and offered no help until I asked if we could get help. I was traveling alone with three kids. The attitude specifically from the front desk staff was ridiculous. As if they were irritated that they were in the hospitality business. Melissa was one of the front desk people that repeatedly offered attitude and glares. The pool did not have quick access to drinking water either. Typically at least a dispenser is sitting on a table adjacent the pool but in order to get water you must travel three floors down to the bar. Very odd.

Huge windows in the room, kids loved looking out at the city/river. Great lobby area if you need to do a little work in the am while on vacation with kiddos asleep.

In town with family (3 kids 6 & under) to visit zoo. Booked 2 rooms & front desk was amazing at helping me get connecting rooms! Valet guys were amazing too. Beautiful hotel, very clean & friendly staff. The only downfall from our trip was that we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful rooftop pool because it rained during our stay so no fault of anyone at the hotel! Definitely recommend this hotel!
