Courtyard by Marriott Omaha Downtown

The people who work here are amazing and helpful. The facility is where things fell short. We were on a get away and hoped to seep in. The blinds were broken, so it was very bright the first morning. I mentioned it to the front desk and they happily sent people to look at it. When we returned later, the curtains were stuck closed. So no ability to enjoy the skyline in the evening. There was mold growing on the wall of the shower at about shoulder height and above, so clearly not cleaned for a while. Also, the hotel is located where the street merges into the interstate. It causes a lot of traffic noise at all times. Especially very loud cars revving to enter the interstate were a constant night time occurrence. There was also a dog in another room that barked loudly starting in the early morning. We could hear the baby crying in the next room. They must not have put much thought into sound dampening when they built the hotel. It was very nois. We had planned to stay an extra night, but left and went to a different hotel for the additional night so we could get some sleep

Hotel was very nice!!! From super friendly check-in to super cozy lounge areas to sit and visit with friends and family. Was a little longer walk to downtown than I thought. Lots to do around the hotel location! Rooms were really nice had very soft beds super clean!!!!

We had a great stay. The only thing that was upsetting was we purposely booked this hotel so our kids could swim because the site said it had a pool. We were informed that they did not have one upon check in. Our kids were disappointed.

Location and the lobby had many areas to visit family and friends.

The room was very spacious and well maintained. Great location near many events in Omaha. Walls seemed very thin as you could hear everything going on in the hallway as well as other rooms nearby. The breakfast in the lobby was not designed for families with children, was a Starbucks that also had breakfast offerings that were very expensive. We enjoyed the Hotel but as we are a family of 4 with 2 children we would look other hotels nearby next time for something with better privacy of sound and meals.
