DoubleTree by Hilton St. Louis Forest Park

My husband was transferred to Barnes Jewish Hospital. Double Tree at Forest Park is connected via a walkway to the hospital which is very convenient. You can also leave your car there instead of parking in the hospital's parking garage. If you call the hotel directly, they have a Barnes Jewish family rate plus $10 parking instead of the regular $15 at the hotel or $16 at the hospital garage. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Thanks for making a tough time so much easier for us.

We were there due to family medical needs. The previous Friday the systems had been hit with the CloudStrike update crash. Everyone on the staff was so helpful even though they couldn’t give anyone a key to get in their room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is needing a place to stay while getting treatments at BJH/Wash U.

I love the property and the staff. Made us feel very welcome and eveen prayed for my family during the time we were at the hospital.

liked that i could walk thru to hospital easily to visit family member not have to drive back and forth the rooms was very clean and qiut stay food was amazing too

Not convenient to the children's hospital! Long winding walk. Loud construction sounds early in the morning. Parking garage and walkway literally right outside the window. Not worth the extra money compared to other hotels in the area that offer more amenities.

Jim (the GM), Liz (manager), and Brandon (associate) were all so friendly, considerate, and helpful. They truly went above and beyond for my family as my father was hospitalized at Barnes Jewish Hospital.

When traveling to visit a very ill family member, it is so helpful to have a clean hotel, soft bed and friendly staff to make life a little easier. We were greeted with kindness and everything exceeded our needs.

With the Hilton brand you associate it with some elements luxury or higher end commodities. For these reasons I chose this location for a family Mother’s Day trip when visiting St Louis. There is NO parking onsite unless it is valet- not even a lot/garage where you pay for overnight. You either valet or are subject to the next door’s hospital garage in/out hourly prices.The check in took 10+ minutes. There is only 1 towel per guest in the room. The only breakfast option was a paid 12 dollar buffet. There was nothing special about the rooms- in fact, our bed sheets did not fit the beds and I woke up tangled in the fitted sheet/ mattress pad. Ceilings peeling in the shower. A/C would not go below 70 degrees and room was very damp. I have had better accommodations and amenities for a better price at Holiday Inn Expresses. Disappointing for the price and the reputation for a Hilton brand.

The location is excellent for patients/families that utilize the hospital. It would be helpful if the front desk would provide general hotel information such as check out time, inform that breakfast is available, and provide direction to the parking garage. We did receive warm cookies when we checked in, that was nice.

The ladies at the front desk were great and very patient with other customers. The room was clean and nice. One reason why I may not book here again is because of the parking. There was not an elevator in the parking garage to hotel. We had to walk a flight of stairs and go through a maze to the get to the hotel elevator. No signs were seen to let us know how to get to where we needed to go. This hotel/garage are attached to the children's hospital.
