Hotel Frederick

Hotel Frederick is a charming historic experience. It is also a central gathering place for likewise historic town. My room was quaint and comfortable. I have family in town and look forward to future stays.

We've stayed at "The Fred" many times over the years when visiting family and look forward to it every time. During our latest stay we were impressed again with the friendliness of the staff, the bar/restaurant offerings and the historic accommodations. We love to stay at the Fred and wouldn't consider anything else in the area.

The trip was more than we expected. The hotel was beautiful and historic, yet quirky and furnished with cool antiques. It had a cool, boarding house, speak easy vibe. Right before check out as we were packing our make up bag spilled and a bottle of nail polish shattered on the floor. We were panicked. We cleaned with paper towels and our fingernails and got up what we could. The hotel is historic and I didn't want to use chemicals that might cause more damage. I took pictures of where the polish was, it wasn't a large area, and went down to talk to them. They were so nice. They told us not to worry, that they had something to take that right up. I was so grateful. We offered to pay, and they said it wasn't necessary. We plan to make yearly family trips to the Fredrick. It was a beautiful place to stay, with friendly stay, and a restaurant and bar, great local attractions.

Beautiful old hotel right downtown Boonville. They have bike rentals a cafe and a bar downstairs. The hotel has been totally re done and it is GORGEOUS!!! Loved our time here. While sitting on the front porch enjoying our coffee an Amish family in their buggy drove by.
