I booked a suite for 6 people. We arrived and the lady at the desk was immediately rude. She kept asking questions about why I was in town. I told her that I was visiting my niece and having a birthday party and sleep over with her. She did not say there’s any issue with this. We got to our room and it had a foul odor. When friends arrived they stated that the front desk staff kept asking them if they were “going to a swim party, because those aren’t allowed”. Which was a bit random because there were just going up to our room. There was nothing posted about swimming or whether parties are allowed or banned on the website or on site. While I was up in our room my sister who was also a guest in the room went down to the pool area with her youngest daughter who is kindergarten and 2 other children to swim. They were immediately escorted out of the pool area and not allowed to swim. I requested a refund since we were not being allowed to use the facilities when we are paying a lot for the suite we are using. The manager on duty stated he could only give a refund if the room was the same as when we got there so they could “resell it”. So we took all our bags to the car and waited 30 minutes for them to inspect the room and tell us they would NOT give me a refund for the room. They continued to argue that I was having a pool party which is ridiculous because we were having a birthday party in our room.
This was seriously the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

I had reserved this hotel when my daughter was accepted to college for family weekend. In the ensuing months, my credit card had fraud, and while I tried to update all vendors, I missed this one. Precious from Staybridge called me the evening before letting me know I needed to update the card on file. I was at an event so I called back the next day as we were driving six hours to visit our daughter—I was horrified to discover they’d cancelled our stay. No warning, no sense of urgency from Precious. In fact, hotels.com couldn’t protect us and to this day, there has been no cancellation from hotels.com. We have heard that Staybridge is notorious for scams like that. They oversell, call folks to update the credit card and if they don’t respond that day, no matter how late the call, they will cancel your reservation without warning. NEVER STAY HERE. And you might be better protected not using a third-party app and going straight through the hotel or their apps instead.

It was a horrible experience staying here.
The elevator had no air and was hot and smelly. The pool was disgusting - absolutely horrendous and I’m shocked they haven’t been shut down. No chlorine, hair and dirt, no jets to move water - and the floors/walls disgusting. Our room key broke every day… we had to go down multiple times to get it reset. Horrible! The chairs in the room were covered in dirt and grime.
The photos look nice. The lobby is clean. But the small things that show the true cleanliness of a hotel were horrible. Will never ever stay here with my family again.

We enjoyed our stay here for one night with my husband and 3 teen children. We loved how spacious the room was. It’s hard to find good accommodations as a family of 5. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom shower was nice. And the breakfast in the morning was very good with a variety of foods offered. The staff was also very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Will NEVER stay here again. Booked for 2 different nights same week. 1st stay, housekeeping woke us up beating on our door and trying to enter 2 hrs before check out, (arrived at 5 am) then argued repeatedly with me through the door that some people leave early. 2nd stay, the hotel called at 4 pm saying that another guest had destroyed our room and so it wasn't available. Asked if we would accept a room as a "walkover" at their sister location... Said room would be same type, size, beds, etc. Arrived at 11 pm and was told only room available was much smaller and fewer beds than needed... Take it or leave it. One of us slept in a chair. If they had been honest in the first place, they could have refunded our money, and we could have found proper accommodations for our family. Terrible experience. The building itself was nice, but the lack of integrity asking the staff is a detriment.

Our family was in town for Summer Welcome at Mizzou. The hotel was close to campus and spacious enough for the four of us. Everyone enjoyed the comfortable beds.

We stay here each year for our statewide family outing l. Was disappointed that the pool was closed and my Husband had to rewire the cable in the room, that happens every year and unable to enjoy tv another year in the room
