Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BYRAM, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was fine. It was clean and the room was spacious. There were several options at Breakfast. My issue was with the booking between Expedia and the Hotel. I booked a double Queen room while I was on the road and picked this hotel because there was a double Queen available. I got a call from the front desk that Expedia had overbooked the room, they didn’t have a Double Queen available and would need to charge me an up grade charge if Expedia wouldn’t cover it. I tried to reach Expedia and found it difficult to actually talk with someone. I even tried the online chat with no luck. We had to pay more money and have 2 people sleep on a pullout sofa which was not an upgrade for our family. I don’t know where the responsibility lies to help when this happens. This is the first time I remember any issues I booking with Expedia but it was disappointing.

This was one of the cleanest, homiest feeling hotel, I have ever stayed at. The beds was soft and comfortable! The staff was amazing, breakfast was always hot and delicious! Will definitely be back, when we visit family! This hotel definitely deserves a 5 star review!
