4 out of 5 stars

To summarize all pros and cons. Pros… 1) just across the street from convention center. 2) clean 3) Breakfast available 4) Friendly front desk staff as well as restaurant workers and valet Cons… 1) Even though the lobby area is remodeled, the rooms are very dated. 2) Breakfast buffet is not included in the price and super basic. If you want additional items like pancakes and omelets- you pay extra on top of buffet price. ($18total ) So, for a family of 4 - $72 . 3) vallet parking -$35/day ( no self park at the hotel. Over all it was a good experience, but ended up being $300 a night. We booked it last minute and there were not that many options left in the area, because of the huge event at convention center. Otherwise would stay somewhere else for that price.

Very good for the money I paid for one night. I checked in to two queen bed-room with 4 family members. The beds were clean and good. We all had a good sleep. We drove our family car up to the facility but they had only valet parking so, I had to pay extra money for the valet parking because I did not want to park in the street in an area I don't know. In general, the service was very good.

I’m really upset at the parking situation I’m a single father of 3 and they made me drive blocks away in the middle of downtown Minneapolis at night. I don’t want to put my children at risk. It was just awful. Get more parking or a better valet system!

This was a nice new property that is very difficult to get to. It had nice fire pit tables out front that always had sketchy people at them that were not staying at the hotel. Also a lot of people hanging around in the lobby that seemed to be high. One person pounded on the security door screaming until he was let in. He insisted they call 911 which they did while he yelled at everyone in the lobby area. We felt very unsafe here and I also worried for the front desk staff. There should be police at this hotel. Do not bring children here.

The stay was okay, the people friendly, BUT the extra charges for everything - parking, breakfast, WIFI, & deposit, did not appreciate every little extra was EXTRA. Set your hotel cost to cover the extras not if you want this pay more theory. Won't stay again and with a kid going to college, was hoping to find a frequent hotel of choice.

This is a great hotel. Fantastic staff. Excellent rooms. Clean, modern, everything in good working order. Reasonable rates. We were in town for a 3 game baseball series (Minnesota Twins vs the Blue Jays). It’s a medium walk down to 5th avenue? where u can catch the Blue Line tram which takes you directly to Target Field. For only $2. No uber, no nothing. Right to the front door of the ballpark. Easy peasy. Save yourself some dough and stay here if you’re going the ball game. There’s a nearby diner (the Nicollette) and 2 liquor stores (Haskell’s is the better one). Nice restaurants not too far away either. And the Regal Beagle lobby bar on the ground floor is AWESOME. ZACH the bartender made the lobby bar a fantastic experience for us. He’s a great kid. And Drea was awesome too. Will be back FOR SURE. can’t wait to come back the next time the BLUE JAYS are in town.

5 night stay at the hotel for 30th wedding anniversary trip to Paisley Park, home of Prince. Hotel and staff were lovely and the meals were great and reasonably priced. Special thanks to Madison for our surprise of roses and champagne in our room on arrival and sorting it out for our children. Everyone was friendly and soecial mensions for Sydney, Abdul, DJ, Diante and the breakfast chef. They were all amazing even if they didn’t all catch our Scottish accent xx

My family and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Downtown Minneapolis because we had a family surgery at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. They have a shuttle to and from the hospital every hour on the hour just notify them of a drop off or pick up; under two mikes to hospital but no worry about parking at hospital. You pretty much have to use valet parking at hotel because little to no street room. I will stay at this hotel again for personal fun visit to twin cities or hospital again or for business if needed. The staff at this hotel ARE EXCELLENT; ABSOLUTELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!!! Made me feel like I was around friends during a VERY VERY stressful time at the hospital.
