The hotel was nice, food was great, and we had what we needed BUT, there was water in the ice bucket when he checked and I thought it was strange that wasn’t dumped/cleaned. The overall goodness of the facility was ruined by the paper thin walls/ceilings. My family was woken up 3 separate times from the rooms surrounding us. Once from loud laughter Nextdoor, once at 6am to children running above us and adult stomping, and once to snoring Nextdoor. It is normal to hear running in hotels, but a snoring neighbor? That really shows how thin the walls are. We spent way too much money for dealing with that. We had 3 small kids we needed to keep asleep and we did not appreciate the wake ups.

We love the Lift Bridge Lodge hotel - great for family and the rooms seem to be larger than other hotels. Breakfast has many options and my kids enjoyed the pool

Great location in Duluth near the aerial bridge with great dining and entertainment options within walking distance! The hotel was busy with families and sometimes loud, but our room was next to the pool and breakfast area. The pool provided fun times for our family, we enjoyed the well-stocked breakfast with tons of options, and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, very hard-working. Highly recommend!

We came with our kids & grandkids and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Nicely located and the view of the lift bridge and lighthouses were fantastic! Friendly service and a wonderful breakfast to start our day!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lift Bridge Hotel. Our lake view room was clean and pretty comfortable. The fridge didn't work particularly well (either frozen or too warm) and the room had a sort of musty smell to it. But the fact that we could open the windows & let the breeze from the lake in was delightful. Breakfast options were plentiful & clean. Desk staff was friendly. The room are not insulated for noise - we could hear all the foot traffic outside our door & the kids running up and down the hallway above us. There's no bar or evening food options available in the hotel, but several options within a one or two minute walk of the hotel's front door.

I did not rate as high due to a few maintenance issues upon arrival however they were quickly fixed and I received a check in the next day. The room was perfect for our group with 3 Adults and 1 child! The balcony made for great viewing of the lake and ships coming and going. I will stay again!!

Only bad thing was walls are paper thin and kids in next room were constantly running up & down the halls, being loud, and constantly slamming their room door at 6 am and on

The hotel was lovely and the people that were there were all very friendly. Our room was not ready at check in so we got bumped up to the second floor which was an upgrade I guess. Maybe because of the view of the lake? Not sure. The pool burned my eyes. Lots of chlorine but of course the kids didn’t care! So fun was had by all. Breakfast was great!
