I gave it a lower rating because in the room there were no lids or cups for coffee in the morning. There was no ice bucket lid. The soap dispenser is too high on the wall as well as the shower essentials. Not kid height friendly rooms. Disappointed that apparently they only change the propane tanks 1 x week. When they run out on a Friday they're not swapped out for the busy Saturday evening. Loved the Tiki bar option. My 6yr old enjoyed the outdoor movie of UP. Like the indoor and outdoor pool option. Ping pong table was a nice touch too. Disappointed that the breakfast was a buffet for $15/person. I already spent $800 for 2 nights! Either have it included or do a continental breakfast.

This riverside hotel has a resort vibe with a big price tag. The rooms are clean and updated, the courteous and professional staff is trying their best (even when they are short staffed at times), and the hotel grounds support a variety of activities. My one grievance concerns the pools...... The outdoor pool closes at 10 PM and the indoor pool/hot tub closes at 11 PM. Obviously, there are children vacationing in July and some parents allow their children to stay at the pool until closing time. The children were nice and respectful, but I think it would be better if the last hour of the evening was designated "adults only".

Everything was wonderful! The front desk, housekeeping, amenities and the restaurant inside “Burger Theory” I went down for coffee & breakfast every day and the were sooo sweet and hospitable. Nancy is the manager and Amari is waitress… they made me feel so comfortable and at home. Very generous with special treatment I highly recommend this hotel and location I came with my family of 5 (my husband & 3 kids) We stayed just for a nice comfortable get away & it was truly that

This is a basic, older hotel. The rooms are small, the balcony is a joke, not sure 2 adults can actually sit out there in the chairs provided, seeing as the chairs themselves barely fit on the "balcony". You are also looking out over the other roof with loud AC units so there is no peaceful or quiet standing or sitting outside. The bathroom was basic, the toilet barely worked. Probably a great option for a couple, but for our family with a 2.5 year old, this was not a great option for us to stay for 7 nights. We left early in favor of a 1 bedroom condo elsewhere. The staff was nice, until they weren't. We checked with front desk if we could check out early without penalty because we had not prepaid ahead of time, we chose the option to pay at the hotel. We were told we could leave early, it wasn't a problem, so we made other arrangements and then when we tried to check out, they told us we couldn't, we needed to go through hotels.com, we called hotels.com, they couldn't do anything because we chose the option pay at hotel. So hotels.com told us Holiday Inn had to handle it. Holiday Inn told us Hotels.com had to handle it and around and around and around we went. General manager was supposed to contact us, never did. our stay here went from eh, to bad to really bad. We definitely won't be back.
