It was a quiet and refreshing change in comparison to my first booking. Only hiccup was I requested a king size room and was given a room that was available but not cleaned, so they immediately switched me to a room with a queen bed. While it was not what i requested, it was late and there was nothing else available so I accepted it. My last day wasn't so great. There was no water to shower due to them shutting off the boiler. The guests were not notified, we had a flight to catch, had to run to family's house to shower...missed our flight.. and got home a day later.

Stayed in the Detroit area over Labor Day weekend to visit friends and family. The hotel was in a good location for me, the breakfast was good, the staff was nice, and it was very affordable.

My reservation failed, it was not honored, my money was gone. I wasted an hour calling you without results. Finally, I got a different room, with bugs.
Upon arrival, I was told that they were full and they did not have the room that I reserved. I should call 855-783-9733.
My room reservation was for
Guests: Reserved for 2 adults , 2 children
Room: Deluxe Room, 2 Queen Beds
I was told that they have no rooms left, except a handicap room.
I called 855-783-9733. They answered indicating this number is not for guests and transferred me to guest support, but it eventually hung up, disconnected.
I returned to the hotel guest check-in to tell them that the phone number did not help.
So, given that Hotels.com took the money, and failed to get me a room, I asked if there was anything left.
Apparently, there was a room that was 'dirty' and not available. It did not have 2 Queen beds, but a King bed and a pull out couch.
The guest check in assistant checked the room, which appeared clean to her, and she offered this room as replacement.
Since I already paid, Hotels.com already took the money, there was no response from them, there was no other option, so, sure I'll take this replacement.
After we settled in to the room for the night, 2 children sleeping on the pull out couch, a big bug scurried from under the phone and ran under the pull out couch.
(Maybe, this is why the room was considered 'dirty'.)
So, my check in failed because Hotels.com failed.
