TownePlace Suites by Marriott Jackson

We lost power at our home like most in our part of the state. All of the Towne Place Suites staff were so nice and friendly even under the stress of trying to accommodate everyone that was in need of a warm place to stay. I'm sure many of them were also without power but they always had a smile on their face. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a full kitchenette for our family. We have a dog that would typically bark hearing people outside but you couldn't hear any hall noise so it didn't bother him at all. The only thing I didn't care for was the fitness room was attached to the lobby/breakfast area by all windows. It was just a little awkward for my comfort level working out because the hotel was at max capacity and people were in the lobby/lounge all day waiting around and looking for rooms.

There were clothes belonging to the last family that stayed in the room left in the drawer. I did not have television the whole weekend despite my efforts all weekend for some assistance in getting the television viewable

Got up New Year's morning to have a nice hot breakfast with me and my kids and my four grandchildren and nobody showed up to service so they wanted to serve a cereal

This hotel is clean and the staff are all very friendly. The issue we had was with the poor room layout. We had a king room for four of us, two are kids. When you flip open the sofa bed, The end of it is up against the foot of the king bed. The only way out for two people was to climb over top of the others who were sleeping.

Evrrything was very clean and comfy and the front desk man was extremely kind! Pool was a little cold for me but the kids loved it so all around good stay!
