Comfort Suites Grandville - Grand Rapids SW

This was a perfect place for our family to stay while in town visiting family. Comfortable, clean, quiet and we loved the pool. Our only complaints were that the coffee was pretty weak and many of the amenities are single-use plastic such as shampoo, soap, cups. We hope the Comfort Inn chain can consider using more sustainable packaging for their items.

I'm saying this was a really cute hotel it wasn't like a five-star restaurant but the complimentary breakfast was actually stunning and better than I could have ever imagined! The pool was a little shabby with broken tiles and everything but my two kids and I had a lot of fun it was clean and we just had so much fun and we had a lot of alone time in it the lobby was cute and the staff was actually helpful offering a Band-Aids when we needed one and the room was nice I loved that we had a refrigerator and a microwave and I could just have coffee anytime I wanted it was a really great stay!

The afternoon clerk at our check in was fabulous. We were a family hoping to have 3 rooms near each other. She got that for us. She also was super friendly and kind.

Staff targeted me with the amount of people that visited while staying at this hotel. Also decided to ask a child about the amount of people staying in the room instead of talking to the parents.

This has become our favorite spot for family getaways and out-of-town guests. The rooms are huge, clean, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area is nice (although the pool itself is on the cool side). The free breakfast (6-9 a.m.) is a nice extra. We liked being able to walk to the Walmart next door. Definitely recommend this place.

We choose this location because of all the good reviews of the pool and hot tub, as well as great services. When we checked in we were greeted warmly and asked the reason for our visit. We responded that we were visiting the property to use the hot tub and look at Christmas lights in the area,we live just 30 minutes away. Never once did the front desk lady mention the hot tub was not heating and they had called for service. I saw kids playing in the pools so never imagined there was a problem. We checked in, went to dinner and looked at lights in the area. When we went back to the hotel in the evening and tried to enjoy the hot tub we discovered it was swimming pool cool. We checked out immediately and won't be back because of the dishonest behavior.

We stay once a year, Thanksgiving weekend for a woman family Christmas shopping trip. It's reasonable and within walking distance to a Walmart incase anyone forgets something. Never had any real issues to complain about.

My family and I booked a weekend trip and stayed at this hotel and we couldn’t be more happy that we chose this one! The staff was very respectful and were very accommodating to our needs. The complimentary breakfast was a big plus. The rooms were clean. The only minor issue I had was there was an odor in my room. Other than that, housekeeping was great. They lock the front doors for safety by 11pm and you could only enter the building with your room card. Our family enjoyed the amenities and majority of the places/activities we did and visited was near the hotel. We would most definitely come back here again. Thank you!

Girls family trip. Went to Lantern festival at zoo. That was awesome. Staff was friendly, room clean, nice pool and enjoyable breakfast. Little high priced, but isn't everything?
