Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport

Amazing hotel great stay rooftop pool however they said we could use two cards to check in and when I said after hours of waiting, that this isn't worth it I've been waiting hours with three children and you guys said that I could use two separate cards and I've walked back to the store and back twice then finally they were able to make it happen but until I said I was leaving and canceling the booking I was waiting hours other than that it's a beautiful hotel very pricey but nice I just don't get all the extra fees like a destination fee? And all these other fees I've never heard of and I stay at hotels often

This hotel got a 4 star and not a 5 star because of pool. The access to the outdoor pool was impossible. It was hot and we just wanted to cool off. The pool required reservations and I tried repeatedly before and during our trip to get a reservation. It was booked for the entire stay. I called the pool monitor who said come in the “wait for a spot” line, most people get in. After three days of waiting in the line my family still couldn't get in. Very disappointed.

Thanks to this hotel I had a blast in Boston for my first time. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family and will be staying again. I felt so comfortable and welcomed. Most importantly I felt safe!

What I didn't like is that the Seaport and especially the Omni turns into party central for many young adult non-guests taking on a night club atmosphere on Saturday night complete with elevators that became tricky to navigate and rules about not able to order food at the bar after 10 while drinking there forcing you to return to your room to order room service or pick up at the same place you were drinking. Silly rules to baby sit the young people. But praise for the influence of frequent guests from Turkish airlines and the great Turkish breakfast on the morning menu.

My daughter was playing volleyball at the Convention Center and the close proximity was awesome. Rooms were neat and clean. When checking in, not a lot of information was provided, just "elevators are down on the right and 8th floor" My son had to look on the key envelope for room number and they also failed to tell us to use our key to operate the elevators. I was staying with my 13 and 17 year old children and was told that the room slept 3 (cot) but when my son asked for a cot he was told there were no more which resulted in me sleeping on the floor for 2 nights … Our overall experience was great but for the price, sleeping on the floor was not only uncomfortable but disappointing. We would totally stay there again and the proximity to the amenities was fantastic.

Our king room was TINY Absolutely NO privacy using the bathroom or showering from the rest of the tiny room. Food was good but not a lot of choices that were kid friendly

Full of loud kids literally in every single meeting room, hallway, cafe and gym. Extremely unprofessional staff for not handling the situation despite my telling them. Amenities were closed if not unusable due to the situation. I also watched a dog pee in the lobby right in front of me with no one taking any action to clean. Extremely dissatisfied and won’t be returning unfortunately

Love this hotel! This is the second time I’ve stayed there. The rooms are quiet. The views are great. The staff are amazing. The Patron rooms are spacious - we brought our baby in a pack and play and had plenty of space and also plenty of sink space to wash bottles and a frig to keep them cold. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This was the nicest hotel! Very clean, professional staff. Lots of people and activity, however it was quite in the room. Pool area was beautiful, however, some of the guests were allowing children to jump into the pool splashing others who did not want to be splashed. Should have made pool rules clear and reinforced appropriate social behavior. We switched reservations at the pool to the evening time the following day to avoid splashing children, but there were still children out and even worse behavior from loud, intoxicated adults. It was so loud and so obnoxious we went back to our room instead of enjoying the beautiful warm summer evening at the pool.
