Loved our stay at the Eliot. The suite was good sized and perfect for a family of three with a teenager. Perfect location for visiting and shopping, closes to Newbury Street and tons of restaurants.

Everything about the Eliot hotel was perfect. The most pleasant and helpful staff, the charming building and the old school key to each room, and the room itself were all amazing. The spacious guest room was perfect for my family of four. I highly recommend this hotel!

We loved our stay at The Eliot, extremely welcoming staff in every department. Every Associate we came in contact with, looked as if they enjoyed their job, which you don’t find often anymore. We would definitely stay at The Eliot again and we would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Unbeatable location: close to everything but on an elegant and relatively calm boulevard at the same time. One of the few hotels with rooms suitable to accomodate 4, comfortably (couple 2 kids).
Parking provided by the hotel is not so close, so you have to ask for the car at least 30 minutes in advance. But we could always get a space on the parkmeters on the same block, por 2 hrs parking.
The lobby would benefit from some updating.

This was a family get together for the Boston Red Sox. Unfortunately, we were rained out on Saturday and rescheduled for Sunday. This hotel was in the perfect location for the Red Sox. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was excellent.

This was so close to Fenway park. Everyone was very attentive. Our family had a wonderful time.

This hotel was such a delightful find! I was able to book a suite about two weeks prior to arrival at a great price. When I arrived, I was completely fussed over and made to feel so welcome. Each morning as I left for my 2.5 block walk to the Hynes Convention Center, I felt like I was saying, "See you tonight" to my family. In the evenings, I returned to turn down service and ice in the bucket for my cocktails. The staff saw to everything and I was continually impressed with the service. It was even better than the hotel where I spent my honeymoon! Kudos to the staff and I will stay there again on my return to Boston.

Hotel was very dated and could do with an update, curtains fixtures, lamps etc very worn. When we arrived the room key didn’t work and a replacement key bought up, which isn’t ideal after a transatlantic flight. Had to return to reception in the morning as one of the plug sockets was not fixed to the wall which was a bit alarming as it could have been a fire hazard, lighting was very bad, beds were very comfortable. Staff at front desk were very nice, however a lady who I assume was the duty manager bought up replacement room key and dealt with the socket issue, she didn’t introduce herself and there was no apology for the inconvenience. The lamps have a screw type on off switch and 3 have to be individually switched on/off every evening & morning. The light over one bed didn’t work initially and also had to be fixed. The hotel takes dogs, which is great, but there was a feint smell of dog of the linen. We didn’t find the location as good as reviews stated, the hotel is a 30 min walk into town, if on holiday I would recommend a more centrally located hotel. The hotel seems to cater for parents whose children are in college locally, it does not have any tourist guides/information. Also, if you need a taxi make sure to ask for a metered cab as the taxi outside the hotel has no meter, it charged $25 plus tip into town. Overall I wouldn’t recommend for tourists.
