We loved our stay as a family of 5 at the Lenox so much. The hotel is beautiful, and the location in Back Bay was perfect. You are a 20 minute walk to Fenway in one direction and walkable (1 mile or so) to the Freedom Trail and to so many sites in the other. Beautiful Newbury Street is a block away and there are so many restaurants and shopping options steps out of the hotel. The Boston Library is across the street as well. The concierge desk was always so helpful and the housekeeping impeccable each day. We will recommend to friends and family! Lovely experience from start to finish.

First trip to Boston (with 2 kids 11 & 9) and happy we stayed at the Lenox. Very friendly staff. Super convenient to restaurants, retail, and lots of points of interest. Overall hotel was very clean for an older building. Our room was sloped though - I thought it was me but my kids noticed it but they thought it was cool.

I booked a room for my family member. He is so glad that the room is lovely, comfortable and quiet (except for the intermittent sound from the air-conditioning system for which he needs to wear earplugs for sleep as he is a light sleeper). It is very conveniently located, within walkable distance to Back Bay Station and to the Logan Express stop. The staff are very nice. Food in the restaurants is good. He enjoyed the stay there.

As a family of four with young children from Australia we were looking for something in a safe location, with lots of dining options close by. We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel than the Lenox. We explored all of Boston and agree we wouldn’t stay anywhere else on our return. The tea, coffee and hot chocolates in the lobby each morning was a welcome addition. If you aren’t sure where to stay in Boston, this is the place.

Our two night stay at the Lenox was an excellent experience. The staff members were friendly and professional. We enjoyed being in the heart of Boston with restaurants attached to the hotel and shops outside the doors. The car parking service was convenient and efficient. We will return when we visit family again.

The Lenox is a reliable luxury hotel option right near Copley Square. We know we can count on the Lenox when we need to stay in Boston. Having stuffed animals for the kids on check in is a fun benefit.

Beautiful property and located very close to Copley square, Newberry street, Boston Public Gardens. We enjoyed veing able to pop in and out of the hotel while we were in between activities and reservations without being stuck outdoors in the cold and rain. Just 1 item, while we did not experience any disruption from trafic or street noise, we were surprised by how loud sounds from the corridor outside the room were not muffled. There were some kids running up and down and shouting at 1 am in the.morning and it was disruptive. We did not hear any spunds from the rooms on either side of us. I imgine this is probably not very common, most people, even with kids do not tend to stay in the corridors for long and usually do not run around shouting. So I do not think it should be a common problem. Again overall a great experience and if in the area we will definitely stay here.

Our family has stayed at the Lenox before, and we all like this hotel a lot - great service, nice rooms and an excellent location. However, on this trip the air conditioning in our room was not working, the tiny fan they gave us was useless, and I swear the vents were pumping hot air into the room. Basically the room was unbearable, but we were unable to make any changes because we came back to the hotel very late after a concert. When I told the front desk about it in the morning, I got a shrug and an "I'm sorry" but no adjustments to our bill. Very disappointing from a usually excellent hotel. On a side note, the bell staff at the front door was excellent as usual.
