I love the boutique vibe, here. I'd absolutely stay here again. The staff was incredibly helpful on check-in (we were early... and juggling dropping our kiddo off at college, with a car-load of "life" out front.) They allowed us to check in early, drop a few personal items off, and then zip out. On check-out (at 5 am) the front desk team member ran out to hail a cab for us... and helped us depart calmly and smoothly. They were FANTASTIC.

This hotel is in the heart of Boston . Prime location to take the family and or solo to go explore. Joanna the evening manager was a great and pleasant person ,i enjoyed communicating with she is very knowledgeable about the hotel and the history of the location. The hotel does have a handicap assisted ramp and elevator. This helped me out. The rooms varies. The room i was in was big for the room ,but the bathroom was a bit smaller than i would like. This hotel is a very enjoyable, walking distance to shops, trolleys, and convenience stores as CVS. The library is right behind it. Cons: the mircowave and coffee is located in the main lobby. The parking they have valet but its expensive. Across the hotel is a self park 40.00 overnight or 12.00 an hr. Theres a landmark shop called "Luke's" try out the lobster roll famous in Boston! While checking out; Andrew assisted me and he was a delightful young man who assisted me to check me out asap. I really appreciated the speedy and simply way they do check in and check out!

This hotel is very pretty and full of history but the rooms are pretty small if you are staying with more than 1 other person. The staff was nice enough but did not go out their way whatsoever to help with luggage or even be waiting at podium after pulling up in front of the hotel and paying for valet service. No one came out even though we were in the view of the front desk until we finally came in and asked about valet. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable and the location of the hotel is great! Right in the middle of so much to do. They also had free water bottles in the lobby which were greatly appreciated by my family. Overall, this was a great stay but honestly as someone from out of town, Boston service is terrible. Everyone is rude and not worried about making tips.

We stayed at this hotel for a family vacation. The rooms were a bit small, as this is an older building, but it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel was also in a great location and we were able to walk nearly everywhere.

Such a disappointing experience. To begin with, the whole place feels like a guest house, not a hotel. There is no restaurant, no room service... If you want to make yourself a tea or coffee, you're out of luck: no kettles in the room, or in the common areas. No microwaves. Nothing. I asked reception and they told me they only had a kettle in the staff room. The next day they told me they had no kettle on site at all. The room is basic, and although it says on hotels.com that it has been refurbished in May 22, the carpet is filthy and the bathroom's a wonderful time machine to the fashionable 90s. There is no sign to ask for a service cleaning (or skip), and the cleaning team likes to knock and open the door at 8.00am... Last but not least, there is no telephone in the room - so no way to ask anything to reception, make a local call, make an emergency call, or simply ring friends and family in a different room. The wifi is very slow and my phone kept on switching between 5G and the very weak wifi signal. I will not go back to this place, look elsewhere for a decent Boston stay.

I don't think I could have found a better area to stay in. Very close to the T green line& buses, huge grocery store right next door, tons of shops and restaurants right outside, a mall, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, the Duck Bus Tour, Parks, the river, Harvard a 15 min bus ride, the Amtrak station is a 5 minute walk..... The black out curtains kept the room dark for sleeping, the AC was powerful, bed perfect and the windows were noise canceling so I slept like a baby. Lots of choices on the TV and good internet connection. My room looked exactly like the photos, maybe even better. The staff was AMAZING, so friendly, the man from Brazil even brought my pizza delivery to my room one night. I arrived from NYC at 11:30 a.m., check in was at 3:00, they sent me directly to a clean beautiful room at 11:30 and I didn't even ask for an early check in. Odd that they did not have "Do Not Disturb" signs for the door but I called down the first night and told them I didn't want to be disturbed and I wasn't, no housekeeper ever knocked on my door to wake me up. No restaurant on site so no room service, but I ordered delivery so it was no issue and there are tons of places to eat right outside. I wish there was a coffee maker in the room or coffee service at the front desk (Starbucks a block away) and the room was also missing a microwave. I'm already planning my second visit to Boston and this is going to be the hotel I choose again.
