Hyatt House New Orleans/Downtown

Everything about this property is wonderful. I will recommended it highly to my family, friends, and associates. .

We had a fantastic time with my young child at the hotel; the staff was exceptional, and the breakfast choices were excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to taxi services and many restaurants. It made getting around and dining out quite easy during our stay.

Location of this hotel was excellent. In the heart of downtown, steps from the Superdome and the express bus to the airport. Lots of restaurants nearby, within walking distance of the streetcars and the French Quarter. Wifi was fast and reliable. Our room was spacious with tons of storage and immaculately clean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and stored our luggage when we arrived early morning until our room was ready. Breakfast area was well stocked (including bacon every morning!). The only thing my kids wished was that there was a pancake or waffle maker to enjoy them fresh instead of having them premade.

Came for vacation with my family we were able to check in early and enjoy the free breakfast which was good. The room was clean and big enough for the 5 of us. plus you can't beat the view.

My family and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at Hyatt House! we had two rooms. I only had one problem with one of my pillow case was mildew but other than that everything was great! Breakfast was awesome!

Hyatt House was great! We would definitely be back. Excellent service by everyone especially the dining room staff. Having to deal with the mess people leave behind during the free breakfast time is insane. The free breakfast offered by Hyatt house was fresh and delicious. They also give so many options that there was something for both adults and kids. The pool area was also nice. Just a bit noisy bc its in between buildings next to the HVAC system. You eventually drown out the noise. Hotel felt safe at all times. It was super clean. It was a short 15-16 min walk to Bourbon st. Just close and far enough. There are plenty of dining options in the area that are far better than on Bourbon St. My only recommendation is better signage at the entrance of the hotel. Its a sliding door that can onlh be opened with your hotel key card. There is a small sign indicating to ring the bell which you dont really notice. You then have to take the elevator up to 11 to go to the front desk. When you're exhausted from traveling you can miss that sign. We did. We ended up entering thru a side entrance that houses some immigration office. The guard was nice and directed us to the hotel. Other than that, we would definitely be back again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast dining. The food was fresh, there were plenty of options regardless of dietary restrictions. The staff was hospitable, accomodating and respectful during all interactions.

In town for my birthday, Pelicans Basketball game, and visiting family. Hotel is a short walk to Superdome and Smoothie King Center. The Trolly is one block over and will take you to Canal Street. The layout of hotel is odd. You have to take elevator to 11th floor to check in. Once you check in, you have to take a separate elevator to get to your room. Rooms were big and spacious with a kitchenette and supplies. Huge shower with no tub. Breakfast was so so, nothing to write home about. Brooklyn who works at the reception desk was awesome, very friendly! My only complaint, I could utilize my hotspot due to the corporate buildings jamming my signal. Other than that, grate hotel.

Very comfortable stay for myself and my children. No complaints!

My stay at the Hyatt House New Orleans was perfect. The hotel was clean family friendly.The staff was very polite & helpful. The concierge that checked us in (G.A) updated our room which was very sweet. He gave us a king sized room with a city view. All the amenities such as breakfast wifi and pool were were excellent. I enjoyed walking between the Hyatt house and the Hyatt regency within the facility to get to the pool. There’s plenty of art work, some dining options and a gift shop. Oh ! Can’t forget the Starbucks for the Starbucks lovers lol. My stay was great I would totally recommend.
