3 stars because the room was nice. We spoke to hotel staff about arriving after hours. We were told there would be a note, a map and a key upon arrival. The note said our room number was 20. There was NO map or instructions as to how to get to the room. This is at midnight with my 8 month old (sleeping) baby. My partner wandered around the property for 20 mins looking for room 20 but never found it. We called the after hours number, no one answered so we left a message. NO ONE EVER CALLED US BACK. EVER. some random lady staying there helped us find the property ACROSS the street that had the rest of the rooms in it. Got to our room after 45 mins of looking for room. I wouldn’t have even left this review if someone had called us back.

Awake all night because college age kids were allowed to misbehave and shout all night in the hallways

Overpriced . Water leaking from ceiling. Carpets wet. Gym and pool is closed . No free breakfast although it’s advertised. The ONLY thing nice about this place is the staff . NEVER will I come stay here again friends and family as well .

The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location for many fun things to do in New Orleans. My family loved our stay.

I loved how friendly the staff ish it felt more like family more than customer service. The service was beyond exceptional and I will definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting New Orleans.

First of all the front desk person was curt and unfriendly.
There was no service for the room , only on request. we had to empty our trash in shopping bags and set it our the door. While the room appeared clean it was dusty. The bathroom sink drained very slow and filled with water.
It is a cashless property except for tips for the employees.
We had our grandchildren with us and the famous PBJ station the hotel was known for is now a pitiful tray of dried out sandwiches.
One of the elevators did not work.
we have stayed here several times through out the yrs but sad to say we will not stay at The Le Pavillon again.
There are too many other hotels to stay at with better service. So sad.

The staff was nice. However, there was pool for my family to enjoy. The surrounding hotel had pools. Even the pool pass to other pools were for 21 (no kids).

Great area to stay. This place is beautiful and very clean and relaxing room. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family. Parking is a little extreme cost over $60 a night with all the extra fees added... that's the only bad thing.

The hotel itself was very nice. However, it would be wonderful if the new owners would put a little more TLC into making it the grand hotel it was meant to be or had a reputation of being. The history of the hotel deserves so much more, it’s a beautiful structure, but it just didn’t give you that feel of luxury that you would’ve expected from this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, they were just a bunch of teenagers. We didn’t see an adults there, not once. It became a big joke, considering the rumor of spirits, that the hotel was like lord of the flies, and all the adults were kidnapped on the ninth floor! It was said that there was no restaurant other than a very meager breakfast buffet on the weekend, this was very disappointing as the hotel used to have spectacular breakfast years ago. The hotel also only had one elevator that was working so often times we were forced to take the service elevator. All in all it was a nice stay, whether I would stay there again is up in the air.

Where do I even start? We were in town town for a long weekend, as we were a part of a wedding. The first day we arrived, there was enough hot water for 1 shower. The following days, we had ZERO hot or even warm water. I called the front desk to inform them, but was put on a long hold, which eventually ended with the call being disconnected. I proceeded to walk down to the front desk to inform them. Nothing was done to fix the issue. A friendly gentleman came to assess, and his only advice was to run the shower and the sink at the same time for a while and it should eventually come on. It did not. The TV did not work, more than half the outlets did not work, the sink was leaky, one of the two elevators was broken. Ended up checking out a day early because I wouldn’t bare giving my young children freezing cold showers. Never did the staff or front desk associates take responsibility for the issues. Very disappointed. I will never return
