It’s always an amazing stay at The Saint! There are so many things to love! The staff is very helpful and friendly! From valet, front desk, and housekeeping! The bar is so sexy and even the bathrooms have a naughty feel to them! I love that it’s within walking distance of Bourbon and many restaurants! I can go on and on, but this hotel is literally fantastic! I prefer being there with a significant other rather than kids!

We visit New Orleans often but this was our first time staying at this hotel. We chose due to the price and location to holiday activities planned at the Ritz. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered was delicious and fair price for hotel food. The rooms had a bit of wear and tear but nothing terrible. There was some street noise, which is expected in that area. I would recommend this for couples or family(fair warning for families, the rooms have carpet).

The Saint is actually quite nice, and has a very interesting feeling. I did score some areas lower because I had to change rooms due to ants on a bed and desk, as well as food crumbs around the room. They did fix the problem immediately though. The fitness room has a unique stretching machine, however, half of the gym was out of order or sparse of options, but the decor was very unique in there. Finally, it is a bit unfair to say it is in an unsafe area because New Orleans as a whole has become much dirtier and less safe. It is so sad because I once loved New Orleans, and I would see families everywhere and at any time. Now there are homeless and feces on every street and corner.

My grandkids really enjoyed the hotel. I like how the staff reassured us during our last day while there was tornado warnings going on.

The hotel requires $100 per night for incidentals. The property is “ok” but not worth the nightly rate. They do not have room service. The bell hop occasionally opened the door for us but did not assist with luggage or offer. The rooms appear old but updated. The TV selection is extremely limited. WiFi frequently lost connection. No refrigerator in room other than a locked mini refrigerator that required maintenance to unlock. The elevator & hallways smelled like marijuana. 1 dining area & 1 bar with very limited hours. The worst part, lack of PARKING (other than $40 per day for valet, which I would highly recommend). Do NOT recommend the “public & hotel parking garage” next to the hotel, as its very shady & unsafe. Witnessed a lot of unsafe activity in the parking garage & did not feel safe. This parking garage was suggested by the hotel… upon entering it, I witnessed puddles of urine on the ground, trash everywhere, people living in cars & sleeping on mattresses, & I was verbally harassed by scary individuals while trying to pay the malfunctioning machine for a parking ticket. Lots of sketchy people outside & around the hotel. I did not feel safe walking outside of the property, especially with young children. The property locks the entrance doors after 11pm, which I did like. The surrounding area has a very large population of homeless individuals, sleeping on sidewalks. Overall, not a good experience & I wouldn’t go back.
