Margaritaville Resort Casino

Chose this “resort” based on its name and marketing of a laid back environment. Instead the pool was overran by screaming kids and cranking rap music. A patron was completely drugged out in the corner. I went elsewhere without luck within the resort. I went back to the pool to go into the hot tub late and the hot tub was maybe 80F. Pathetic all around

Great property, it is a casino so 1st floor is always busy. Pool area is small, pool is only 4ft deep which is great for us with younger children. However, they have "pool rules" that werent applied, like adults only after certain times. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and had no housekeeping come by. They were very quick to fulfill any requests we had. Front office is incredibly friendly. Clean facility and a few dining options. Will def go back!

They closed the pool to their guests for a private event! And that’s why I booked with them so my children and I can enjoy the pool. More so, this property doesn’t hold up to the other Margaritaville’s

We enjoyed margaritaville shreveport. We dined on property at Jimmys- the waiter Chris was stand up. We only stayed one night but it was a great location, safe secure parking with a valet option. The ladies at the front desk were prompt to assist all guests as they arrived. We also had complimentary drinks in our room- was nice added touch! The room had a lovely balcony with a river view. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to family and friends.

Hotel is nice, currently under renovations so had loud construction noise waking us up at 8am. Parking and surrounding areas sketchy. Had a homeless man walk up to my car with my children inside and tried to the open car door during the day (9am)!!! This is our 3rd time staying here. Would like more dining options but overall a nice place to stay in Shreveport. Just have to be cautious of surroundings!!

Rooms were clean air conditioner work good and slept like a baby

We have stayed multiple times at Margaritaville but being woke up at 6am with “tests” over the intercom and no power with THREE sleeping babies just really left a bad taste in our mouths. 30 minutes after we got our children calm and back asleep we was all rudely awaken again. It was hot and miserable for us.. why they chose 6am for that I will never know but after being woken twice with screaming kids all before 7 we got irritated and left immediately and drove 3 hrs home. Unfortunately as much as we love it here, we won’t be back because we had a less than desirable stay. The good parts are it’s always very clean and comfortable but if I wanted to be woken up with no power and screaming babies I would have stayed home.

Staff was extremely rude at check in. I was traveling with my family for a funeral and the staff yelled at me for not moving fast enough. The property stinks like cigarette smoke even in our non smoking rooms.

Spent Spring break with the kiddos and had a blast! I won 🙌 all my money back.
