Holiday Inn Bloomington-Airport, an IHG Hotel

I had to walk all the way over to the restaurant to ask the bartender to open my bottle of wine during dinner rush on a Saturday, wouldn't be that hard to have a wine opener at the front desk. Otherwise it's a clean and lovely hotel. Little noisy. Staff was polite, but not having a wine opener was a tad inconvenient. Also they closed the pool for maintenance from 7-8pm on a Saturday when clearly several families had come just to use the pool.

Front desk was amazing. Jason was polite and so warm to me and the children - helpful and very professional. The room bathtub was not very clean, many rust stains. The room AC was extremely loud when cutting on and woke us out of our sleep a couple times.

The floors are so thin, we are on the 3rd floor and it sounds like a ton of elephants walking above us. There is a large amount of kids staying here so this could have been the case.

Staff was personable and accommodating for our 3 rooms and for our kids. We stayed there for a fun time with our kids attending CIY there in Bloomington.

Clean rooms, nice service, pool was warm, kids and adults had a great experience.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We used to stay here in the past when the staff was friendly and the hotel was always clean. But the last few times, it has been awful. Upon check in the vibes were off with the front desk, rude and not helpful. Proceeds to shout this families room number aloud. We get to our room, dirty, hair on the bed, spills left on the bed side table, dusty, just didn’t look clean. We approached the front desk, which Jessica was working, and was more concerned about whatever was on her phone than being considerate about how gross our room was. She transfers us, again another dirty room. The only thing that was decent was the beds, and with having an infant changing rooms late at night wasn’t in our agenda. We were told we’d get comped, but have since been ignored by staff, who when checking out weren’t helpful. Kids running around unsupervised, the staff does nothing. Just an overall bad experience, again. So save your money and choose a hotel elsewhere.

Very convenient parking and 2 restaurants in same parking lot so easy to grab food. Room is run down and needs a refresh. Toilet seat cracked in half, bathroom door won’t stay open, hardly enough room to even get in the bathroom without climbing over the toilet, mold on air conditioner. The pool was the worst part. Didn’t notice until after my kids got in that there was algae growing on the walls and stairs. Very dirty. My kids have showered twice in the 24 hours following their swim and still can’t get the funk smell out of their hair.

Everything was OK. Check-in was smooth. All associates were nice. room was what we requested and clean. We were in the room just to sleep. 1st night very quiet, 2nd night we decided the above people had an autistic or challenged child. It was very noisy. Would we stay again? No reason not to.

My family and I get to check-in, we were told it could be an hour wait before our room would be ready, no big deal. Then, we get to our room, there was a roach crawling around, did not sleep that night. Front desk made me feel as though I was a bother from the start. So I stayed in the roach infested room all night, so gross. To make matters worse, took my sons swimming and brought them back to the room to shower. There was mold all on the shower liner. So disgusted and I do not recommend staying here at all. Thankfully it was one night or I'd have left immediately.
