First it's located in a very hard to get location on a back/frontage road street in the city, a couple miles off of the highway. A busload of high school volley ball kids arrived about the same time as us and their bus blocked had our vehicle blocked in for about an hour and a half. Not a big deal but right at the time we wanted to go to dinner. We changed our plans and ordered a pizza for delivery. The TV didn't work and it took the very helpful clerk two trips to our room to fix it which he did eventually. He was very nice about it but he also mentioned it's an ongoing problem...why? the carpeting and the bathroom were filthy with nasty mod stains around the toilet. That to us was unforgivable and we would never stay there again. All together an unpleasant experience but after driving 700 miles we were just too tired to make changes. the breakfast was average. I thought the room was pricey even if it would have been clean, it's a tired hotel in need of some upgrading!

I was traveling to Branson, taking some special food items for my family and needed a refrigerator overnight. I reserved a room that specifically had a fridge. I took everything down the long hallway to the elevator and up to the room only to find the refrigerator was not cold nor was it getting cold enough to keep the food safe over night. The staff said they could replace it in the morning which defeats my purpose of keeping the food safe. They were kind enough to let me keep it in their fridge until morning. Thank you for your service and helpfulness.

Our refrigerator didn't work, and when we called they said they couldn't replace it till the next day. The next day it was not replaced and they didn't do anything to help us. We have small children and needed the fridge. The pool was locked in the morning and when we were let in, they locked us in, so we had to call to get let out. That is a huge safety issue. While the hotel looked okay when we checked in, there were a lot of damaged doorways, the boxspring on our bed had the bottom half ripped off and was just hanging there, which means it wasn't being cleaned under the bed. Overall the place needs upkeep.

We stay in town when we have family gatherings because we are the only ones from Indiana. We have tried several different hotels and this has been the best by far.

Staff was nice. Check in quick. Prepaid for room through Expedia. Was asked for credit card which I assumed was for incidentals and instead they charged the full room again in addition to the full amount Expedia already collected for the room so now I have a headache to work out getting one of the charges removed as I'm not paying twice for the same room. Asked in the morning what the charge is and assured just for "incidentals" that would come off which it did not. So now I have to make phone calls to try and get this resolved after an exhausting trip - woo hoo! Location was difficult to get to coming off of the 74. Lots of people outside lingering about the area when I arrived around 9 p.m. Side door that was open despite sign that said required guest key-card to get in. Common areas smelled like marijuana smoke. Room was really small and made it difficult not to bump into people with two adults and one child. Bathroom was tiny and the exhaust fan not working. The air conditioner was obnoxiously loud. To be honest a lot of A/C's are loud but this one was really EXTRA loud. I was exhausted so I slept great anyway but be warned if you aren't a sleeper who can tolerate loud background noise. Beds were comfortable and seemed clean and well made. Hands-down this was the worst stay I have had at a Best Western in my almost 50 years on this earth. I have always found BW to be a step above many other competitors and worth the extra price - not this one.

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past year because it's convenient to family members we visit. The overall condition of the property has improved over the past months. Front door area and lobby are much cleaner and better kept. During this stay, our a/c unit had a rattling fan that made sleep challenging. Otherwise, everything met or exceeded our expectaions.

When I paid for our stay upfront it stated includes all taxes, fees, etc. but when I checked in the owner stated “you’ve already paid for your room, you just need to pay the $15 deposit” for what? Nobody could answer that for me. There was a damage deposit that I already paid upfront with the room, so I feel like paid an extra $15 for being a single female. If it was part of the room, fees, taxes, deposits… why wasn’t it part of my total due that I paid upfront? Super sketchy. The lobby was clean, that’s it. Elevator floor is disgusting and door closes super aggressive. It closed on several people that were trying to hold the door for someone, and closed REALLY hard! Our room was disgusting! Small child hand prints all over the mirror. Water bottle caps under tables and by bed. Hair in shower. Hair on bed. Sticky stuff on dresser/tv stand. Opened-old drinks in the refrigerator. Pool was actually really nice the first day, so my daughter and I got to enjoy that but they ran a hose into for an entire day so when we tried to go swimming the next day the water was unbearably cold. No parking during our second day due to a parking lot pizza party (it was the weirdest thing I’ve seen in a while) but we had to park a good distance away from the entrance which was irritating when you then have to walk down a super long hallway to their one elevator to your dirty room and squeeze through a little 22 inch path to do anything. Will NOT be staying here again.
