Quality Inn & Suites Vandalia near I-70 and Hwy 51

It was a one night stay for our family on our way back home from trip to Colorado. It was adequate for 5 people with fridge. Small bathroom but fine for 1 night. Staff was very nice. Breakfast not great- coffee was not best. I appreciated rest in clean comfortable bed.

We've been staying here for about 5 years now (it's always been our favorite) about 8 months ago the property was bought by new owners and they have completely redone it even nicer then before ,they even have jacuzzi rooms now ,and we rent that one every time now ,our kids love it . The staff takes amazing care of the guests and property. If you have any issues they immediately take care of it. We will always stay here when in the area .

this is a comfortable, clean, quiet place for me to stay when visiting family. they have expanded the breakfast menu-a welcome change!

This property was a jewel in the rough. It was very clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It was great staying one night with my family. I feel it was a great price given all the comforts provided. I woild stay here again.

Close to town. Close to family. Decent quick breakfast. Good value for cost

This hotel will probably be our go to when we visit my family in Illinois. The only issue we had was the bed was SUPER uncomfortable the first night. Nothing on the hotel we just aren’t used to the hardcore firm that it was!! AMAZING place and incredible staff!!

A great deal for a place reasonably priced. You get what you pay for but what tbis place lacks, they wholeheartedly make up for in other ways. It was clean, friendly, nice breakfast choices, BEAUTIFUL flowers and garden area, bathroom was excellent and updated with HOT wonderful shower. The outdoor pool is ok-its a pool-the kids loved it and it is open later than most hotels which was wonderful! There were even several fun large floats to use. We stayed labor day weekend and the place was calm without too many people. bed comfortable, room doors and small tv issue need some work but we didnt mind. We felt safe and the place was quiet. Walked the area at night and there is a swingset also. We were expecting much less but were pleadantly surprised. If it werent for the extras like makeup wipes and fridge/mirowave in room, the lovely flowers everywhere and the stay up late pool, nice breakfast and friendly staff, we may have felt different but instead, we were very happy with the stay and would definitely come back again. Dont forget to check out the kaskaskia dragon 5 min away while here. Someone definitely is putting love into this hotel. If you need a cheaper place with nice amenities, definitely choose this one!

The room that i booked was down for repairs. We had to be given two rooms and separate our family into two rooms. The stairs were dangerous.
