The Blackstone, Autograph Collection

Beautiful well-maintained hotel, close to the Art Museum and the Studebaker theater. Front desk folks were some of the nicest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel, room was very clean with super comfy beds, and everything in the lobby was done up beautifully for Christmas. Stayed with my family- the 4 of us would definitely return!

I usually stay at the London house but a friend of mine stayed at the Blackstone and said she had a good experience so I decided to try it this time. I am from Chicago and I still have family there but I like to stay downtown from time to time when I’m in town from Miami. We were in town for a 50th birthday party that was held in downtown Chicago in a new condominium a few blocks from the Blackstone.In a nutshell the service was GREAT ! DJ is awesome!! Met us outside and talked/entertained us while we were waiting to check in. He also helped us with our Uber on the way out Sunday Check-in was Nice and easy had to wait for a early check in but only for about a half an hour around 230 to 3 o’clock.Had a Lakeview room on the 21st floor, awesome view Buckingham fountain Lake Michigan navy pier Hotel is nicely decorated and there is a bar restaurant right off the lobby floor Where we had a little breakfast Sunday before we left to go back to Miami. My only complaint was that our room was a little dusty. Not dirty, just dusty. Other than that not one other complaint. Great time would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
