Overall a beautiful and excellent stay. Great location and casual elegance. We booked a room for 3 (parents + teenage child) that had a king sized bed and a sofa…. our son had to sleep on a small sofa with his legs hanging over the arm which wasn’t great.

My wife and I had a 3 night stay away from the kids and this hotel was perfect! It seemed like practically everything was in walking distance from our hotel. The staff was amazing, hotel was clean and plenty of space. Lure Fishbar, the restaurant in the lobby, was amazing as well. We ate there 3 times during our stay. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we come to Chicago!!

We loved every part of our stay! Helen, at the front desk, made sure that we had two rooms for our family of four and was amazingly accommodating. Our rooms were great and comfortable. Room service came every day and we would definitely stay here again!

This museum is wrong. Every piece of “art” has naked or halfway naked children. I don’t care what you think “art” is but this is NOT IT! There is no justification for every piece on the wall to include nude children that are underage. This hotel should be SHUTDOWN and all the the proceeds should go to the children involved in this. Too many pedophiles in this world and you have a place where they can come and freelance at underage children at their will?!?! I will never be returning to this hotel. I will make sure I go to ALL extents to have these pieces removed and this hotel exposed for the creepy elements that they are exploiting and banking off of!!

The property is an old hotel that has been freshened up inside with a modern feel. However, upon arrival at around 6.30pm we checked in - it was loud an noisy because housekeeping were cleaning vacuuming the area at 6.30pm!!! The elevators were the very tiny, old style and the carpeted floors were filthy - clearly not swept or cleaned throughout the day. Bits of paper, tissues etc on the floor. Hallways on the two floors our family stayed on were both dirty with bits of leaves, paper and generally unclean debris scattered around.
The rooms were somewhat cleaner but our king size suite was very dusty. It smelled like the heat/ac filter needed replacing. Room was amply sized, bathroom was large enough and decor was minimal but stylish. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Because of the dirty floors, hallways and dust in the room, I have to give this hotel a 6.5/10. Food in the restaurant was good, staff at the restaurant and front desk were polite.
Overall quite underwhelming for what I hoped for at over $500 per night.

Lovely hotel. In the middle of downtown. Walkable to touristy area. Lots of restaurants nearby. I love the art gallery. There was a live music in the evening in the lobby that we didn’t know about, that we wish we could have stayed to listen. Our 2-queen room is clean, comfortable, cozy and simple. Cons are 1) I wish there’s a fridge in the room as we have small child, it’s kinda important 2) it can get noisy at night from ambulance/fire truck sirens at night (we’re on the 9th floor) and there’s a hospital nearby. Nevertheless, I still love our stay and would stay again if we are back in Chicago and want to be near the center of many entertainments day and night.

For the price and past reviews you thought you would be staying at great hotel, unfortunately this is far from the true. Staff aren’t the friendliest, there is no refrigerator in your room, half the channels on TV don’t work, it’s extremely noisy, and housekeeping likes to enter your room at 8am every morning. Also, be prepared for them to charge/hold $300 for the room, until you leave or if you’re like me $600 ( they charged me double) …I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have an option... Also, the art wasn’t that great and was kinda of creepy with all the sad and depressed looking children throughout the property….don’t do it and book elsewhere.

The hotel is certainly very central to places to visit, restaurants, a super close attraction that you can walk to, the staff takes care of you very well, clean, safe, I only took an uber and I walked to the places and everything was perfect, in conclusion It was an excellent trip with my family and I loved it, the only thing in my opinion was that the beds felt a bit hard or I was very tired but if I give it 5 stars it is a hotel that has everything close by, the largest Starbucks in the world 10 minutes away walking or less, 360 exhibition 15 minutes, Millennium Park 17 minutes walking.

Complete nightmare. Cold shower, didn’t come to clean room for two days even when asked multiple times, allowed bus loads of frat kids to reserve most of the hotel and did NOTHING when they basically turned the hotel into a scene from animal house until 4 in the morning 2 nights in a row, charged $75 per night for valet parking but made us walk to the ramp a block away to pick up our own car. When we complained told to “come back when the manager is here” so left a note for the manager who never followed up. Spent $1600 all in for a 4 night COMPLETE SHITSHOW of a hotel.
