This hotel exceeded our expectations of the amenities and customers service experience. Our family has a very nice and pleasant experience with the valet parking staffs, front desk clerks, especially Kristine. We have a problem with the safe on the 4th day of our stay. The maintenance person came to fix it within five minutes of notification the front desk. The cleanliness and housekeeping of the room exceeded our expectations. Hyi Ri always check on us to see if we are happy with the housekeeping of our room. Overall, this is a great upscale hotel with all the great amenities, close to Waikiki Beach just across the street, shoppings, dinings. I would come back to stay here again the next time.

Extra charges for everything. On top of the resort fee theres a daily parking fee. They have a valet option that is on hotel grounds and then they have a self parking garge a few blocks away. Either way your still paying daily. They charge for microwave use and they dont allow outside food/beverage pool side
The hot tub jets were malfunctioning. One maintenence engineer was kind enough to turn them on manually. I asked a different guy the next day and he completed ignored the request.
I also attemted to get an extra room since the room size was inadequate for my party. I was told I would have to pay a resort fee for that additonal room as well. The add said sofa bed was included and room could accommodate 4-5 people but there was a tiny love seat instead of the sofa bed and the space was tight. This place is more for people without children.

Super convenient location in heart of Waikiki. Family friendly—coffee shop, bar, pool, restaurant had relaxed vibe with something fun for all ages. Kids and adults enjoyed live music and swimming in the evenings (pool closes at 10 pm). Valet parking is expensive ($50 per night) but very secure and convenient; you can take the elevator from room to parking deck. All service was very professional. Room was a little worn: sliding bathroom door did not work properly; nor did manual door latch (electronic lock was in working condition); decorative shelving was dusty. Overall a good budget-friendly (compared to the other resorts) option for a family stay in Waikiki.

This was my second time staying here at this location. The first time everything went well. We stayed for four days. This time we came back with our seven month old and my sister and her family and stayed for eight days. We got rooms right next-door to each other because it would’ve been convenient for us because of the kids. I woke up after the first night and there were bugs in our room. They look like Nats, but didn’t fly and they were smaller than ants. I couldn’t really tell what they were but they were everywhere. I called the front desk and let them know. They sent someone up who look like an exterminator. He told us that he couldn’t spray the room because of the baby which I was already uncomfortable with bugs being in my room, they sent a security guard for what I don’t know. Both saw and recorded the bugs, the Front desk called me back and switched us into another room. That room didn’t have bugs. However housekeeping was terrible. They left a wet rag on our dresser after coming in to clean, and as I was showering, I was looking around and noticed there was mold when I checked out I told the manager and she asked me if we were having problems breathing, and I told her no, and I showed her pictures and she said that that was to be Determined on if that was mold or not. My sister Said she seen mold in her bathroom as well. They really need to tighten up on their cleanliness. We won’t be returning next year.

The hotel is located along the main strip of the Waikiki. Just across the street is direct access to the beach which is only a 5 minutes walk. Also the hotel is located amongst all the main stores and restaurants which is amazing!! If you have kids ask for a higher floor with ocean view as there is a bar/lounge right below the hotel and it gets loud at nights with live music. The Hawaiian aroma cafe located in the lobby of the hotel is an amazing breakfast/brunch spot that has delicious açai bowls!! (I had one every morning during our 8day stay;)) The rooms showed some age but overall nothing major that would make me change hotels. The pool is on the smaller side so if your kids enjoy playing in the pool then I would suggest you consider this when booking. Hale Koa hotel has an amazing outdoor pool with a slide but is located a 16min walk from the main Waikiki strip! Overall, our stay at Beachcomber was great. The staff was amazing and the location for the price spent is a great deal!! Mahalo see you again next year!!

Outstanding hotel in the middle of everything. Walk out the door, cross the street and you cruise 100 yards down surfboard alley to the best spot in Waikiki for couples, families and more. Shopping is all right there. Hotel is clean, staff is fantastic and accommodating. Pool is great too!

Great stay and great location. Valet parking garage was simple and affordable for the area. Great walkable neighborhood and one block from Duke statue. 500 feet to the ocean. Safe for solo, couples and families. Great pool and customer service

Love the location, the room was clean and comfortable. The valet and Bell service was amazing. The only thing that put a damper on one of the days was a child threw up in the pool. We were not notified until after the fact otherwise, excellent stay.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location, it's on the main street on Waikiki right across the from the beach!
Customer service is hit or miss depending on who you talk to. They made me choose between paying to use a microwave or not feed my infant.
They called my room twice and woke up my napping infant TWICE after we told them not to... We got very little sympathy for our complaints.
The pool is FREEZING, even when it's hot outside... everyone is always in the hot tub. Lastly, their partnership with the cafe next to the pool is poor. The cafe does not honor the voucher given by the hotel to Expedia VIP members. I'm sure I'm not the first to complain, so...
Great for most groups I'm sure who might not experience most of what I did, but some things like the pool and cafe treatment are poor overall.
