Shoreline Hotel Waikiki

We stayed during a night when there was lots of noise in the room across from us. We kindly asked them to quiet down and they said they would but did not! We called the front desk many times from the room and got a busy signal every time. When I called the front desk on my cell phone someone answered and said they would report it. But nothing happed. It was after midnight when the loud talking right outside the room and music stopped. The next day we were told it was the FBI making all the noise?? Sounds fishy but the resort fee was removed. $30 off. It was just hard cuz we were taking a break in Waikiki from babysitting the grandkids for a few weeks. So of course we were exhausted. Otherwise staff was nice but just a little bit too unresponsive.

This property is a true hidden gem. Right off the main Waikiki strip, it was an incredibly convenient location - within minutes of all shopping, dining and the beach. The hotel is very clean and has great amenities. We would stay here again and also recommend to our friends and family.

The good: Location Staff The bad: Interior hallway going to the rooms looked cheap, feels like being in the Amsterdam sex street. Not very appealing to families Room was not ideal for families with the small rooms If u have big bags or a person with disabilities be warned they have a flight of stairs going up to the hotel. You would need to carry the bags. If this was a 3 star hotel i would probably leave a bit higher rating but this a hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel, with corresponding price We would never stay here ever again

The hotel was newly decorated and staff was nice. If you’re looking for a awesome bed and the A/C to properly cool your room at night this isn’t the place. The only way the a/c will run is if your room key is in a slot in the room. So I’m not sure if it took forever to cool off when we came in or if there was something wrong with it. The bed was in my opinion very hard. Getting into the parking was horrible but the valets was very nice. The room was clean so that was important. The balcony door wouldn’t lock so make sure you check that if you have small children. They have a sign up in room that it must remain locked if not in use.

The staff here do is so many fun things for customers. Each day is different, popcorn one night, shaved ice another. They have a different activity ever day/evening on roof top pool area. Beach towels at front desk, filtered water machine, soft serve pineapple ice cream(cost). Infused water all day & Kona coffee in lobby every morning. We will be coming back for a family trip & staying here for sure. Great location with lots of shopping & restaurants. Beach is very close pretty much across the street. Literally 5 minute walk. They do offer valet parking little costly at 45 per night. But if you ask or look around there is a lot of other options that are a little more cost effective options. But in a bind or tiered always an option.
