Hotel feels old and a little run down. An okay option if it’s important to you to be in Waikiki. (Unless youre a surfer, why would you) Probably not the best choice if youre with kids. Crowded and big city problems (i.e. traffic and transients)

Friendly staff. Only recommendation is to put more signs to promote using the stairs as elevator would get packed and it was hard to locate the stairs. Other than that no complaints great family friendly spot.

Great hotel in the heart of Waikiki. The section of beach adjacent to this outrigger is less rocky than other areas so great for kids. And the complimentary water bottles with water stations around the hotels is a nice touch.

This was our second time staying at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach. It never disappoints. A great value for the location and quality of property. It’s ideally situated in the heart of Waikiki. The pool is small but nice. This time we traveled with our 5 month old daughter. The crib we requested was in the room when we arrived and worked great. We spent extra for club access which included breakfast and happy hour drinks and snacks, none of which was spectacular but we would still do it again to save needing to find coffee and breakfast each day. Laundry on site was necessary with a baby and cost about $10/load to wash and dry. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will continue to choose this hotel whenever we return to Waikiki.

Hotel location is perfect and it’s right on the beach. It was perfect for my 5 years old daughter. Here are some cons though; we were at 10th floor and it was still too noisy- they need better isolated windows. Pool area is too small and they don’t have beach umbrellas which makes it very inconvenient to stay at the pool with a kid. They have a resort fee but not too much to offer with.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel is clean and friendly staff. It is located right on the beach and on the main street. Great location for eating, shopping and the beach. There is also facility for washing clothes. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Being able to walk right onto the beach was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. On the negative side the way rooms are reserved is confusing. We made reservations for ourselves and our sons family and got two different breakfast plans for the stay. It was strange.

This hotel has a great location right on the beach in the middle of Waikiki. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the dining options are great. But if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the place for you. We heard bands and street performers at all hours of the night. It sounded like someone was doing construction on the floor above us during the day. Everything was just plain loud - even turning off the bathroom light made a weird thumping sound. Great place for large groups or families. But for a romantic getaway, we'll be looking outside elsewhere.
