Vive Hotel Waikiki

This was our second time staying here and our families joined us this time. They even left us a little welcome back gift in our room which was so incredibly thoughtful and nice. Just like the first time, our stay here was lovely. Staff is so hospitable and friendly they truly make you feel welcomed. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast in the morning is truly appreciated. Everything is within walking distance since it’s so centrally located. They also loan you any beach gear you might need (towels, mats, chairs, umbrellas, toys, and even sunscreen) which is super expensive to rent off the beach. We have zero complaints, everything was great. Thank you so much Vive!

Our 6-nights stay was extremely amazing and we enjoyed their excellent service. Breakfast was delicious with a good varieties of beverages, foods, and fruits. Front desk was helpful and polite so were the valet parking attendants. Only wish hotel could reduce the parking fee and the resort fees. I booked the junior suite and room turned out to be very comfortable and spacious. Hotel is just a short walk distance to the beach, malls and resturants. I have no complains about Vive Hotel and will defintely return to stay.

Vive Hotel was in perfect location of everything in Waikiki. Beach 2 short blocks away, bus stop few yards away, walking distance to all kinds of shopping and dining. The hotel has no balconies but good size windows, we had corner room so we had ocean and Mountain View. There’s filtered water for you to fill your bottles all day. Free rentals of beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and mats if needed. Best of all complimentary nice selection of breakfast buffet. Friendly and professional staff. My family of 4 enjoy our stay at Vive!

We really loved our stay here at the Vive. The hotel was very colorful and had a cute decor. They gave us some pineapple juice when I checked in and it tasted fresh. Its location was very close to everything (around two to three blocks to Waikiki beach).Their resort fee includes beach towels, chairs, mats and umbrella. They have beach toys for kids, as well. The hotel also offers free basic breakfast (omelet, sausage/bacon, fruits, coffee and tea) for guests. But what I loved about the place was their staff. They were all friendly and helpful. All the staff that I had encountered seemed like they loved their jobs. We both enjoyed interacting with Richard and his 'brother' Efren. Some of the very few things that I didn't like were that our bathroom was very tiny and the garage can only take in compact cars. Will definitely come back again.

The hotel staffs were always available and quick to answer questions. My family really enjoyed the hotel breakfast as they served a variety of food. We would stay here again!

Vive Hotel Waikiki was great! Only two blocks to the beach. The breakfast was good with a great selection. Much less costly than the beachfront hotels. I have recommended it to my friends and family.

Vive is in a great position for walking to the beach and shops. It is also close to the major freeway if you are renting a car and plan to drive around the island. I loved the staff's hospitality and attentiveness. Vive offers complimentary buffet style breakfast in the morning, beach mats and umbrellas to take with you for the day (this was soooo helpful!), and 24hr valet service. The property is clean and the elevators run fast. Because it is a smaller boutique hotel you don't run into all the inconveniences that you normally would run into at a larger chain. Plus, you always have more than one person to help you if needed. A few things to note that may be helpful for your stay: - This is not a large hotel. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side but for my family of 4 we fit just fine. If you normally book jr suites at the hilton the size here is not the same, maybe half that. -Valet only. I thought I would be put off by this but their valet is amazing. There's always someone there and the attendants are personable and fast. If valet only parking is normally a deal breaker for you I would suggest you reconsider here. It's so convenient and these guys have a process that works to get everyone in and out in a timely manner. - The surrounding area: Vive is towards the edge of all the foot traffic which you will be thankful for. It's a quick walk into the hustle and bustle but far enough for those who don't like crowds to feel safe and go around.

We were there for one night only and next morning after check out I get a call from front desk telling me they found one of the ipads in the room with a cracked screen. I told the lady on the phone that we weren’t even aware of any ipad in the room after an 11hr flight all we wanted was so shower and sleep. This lady had the audacity of telling me that maybe my baby knocked it over. Just because we have a kid doesn’t mean anyone have the right to put the blame on her like that. She is 6 months old and can’t even crawl yet! In my opinion this a way for them to get the security money for them because how can we argue? I was stressed enough but if you do end up staying here please check every spot and take pictures of everything as soon as you check in.

The front desk service was great. The employees were very helpful and hospitable. My family and I enjoyed the stay and felt very welcome.
