During our family vacation, we planned to stay twice in this hotel. We didnt knew about the advance parking reservations, upon enquiring the front desk, we were shut down by Mei at the front desk and told to go figure it out, ended up pakring 2 blocks down the road.
During our second time stay, we were leaving just before 12 Noon, but the same person, Mei at the front desk, called and yelled at us to get out of the room and she is charging for another day if we dont. we told her we are in the elevator and coming down, but she shuts us down and put the phone down. Our whole family and young kids were there, not a cool experience when you are with your family.

Breakfast- the photos of fresh food that are shown on Hotels.com are misleading at best. The breakfast was kids fruit cups, 4 types of kid cereal (I.e fruit loops) and some super dry bread options like old croissants. The bulk food chocolate muffin was okay. No eggs or any protein. It was basically a kids preschool breakfast. Nothing really fresh.
Pool - tiny and closed
Room/building - older and smaller than pictured. Needs updating and repair
I think price was okay, but Hotel we stayed at last time was better.

We stayed a week for our family spring vacation. The location was excellent, walking distance from Waikiki main street and beach. Hotel parking was kind of expensive (40$/night) but convenient. Considering the excellent location, we were thinking that we might not need car for the entire week. The hotel staff were kind and helpful.
The down side was the hotel breakfast which is far from whatever you may call breakfast (it is basically crescents and cereal (no cheese, no butter, no eggs, no warm foods, no bread, nothing else). Our large family room was on the street side and there was a night club nearby which made too much noise and shouting all night even until 4am. It was really annoying. The beds were small and difficult to be used for two people. The blankets were really small. The sink inside the room was stinky. All in all, we will not stay there next time.

I picked this hotel due to the picture of their breakfast. But their breakfast was nothing like the picture. In the picture they had fresh fruit and other goodies. They actually had fruit cocktail like kids get for lunches and jello. Sugary cereal that was a bit stale, nice little croissants but no butter. The juice was good. The staff made up for the terrible breakfast. They were super nice and you could borrow towels and beach chairs. The parking was $45 for valet if you want in and out privileges, or $35 for once in per day. It is half a block from the super expensive part of Waikiki with Dior, Luis Vuitton etc half a block away so much too expensive for the normal person.

We’ve stayed here several times. This will be our last. Unfortunately since changing hands (previously known as aqua oasis), their staff were less friendly and less helpful, their rooms weren’t nearly as clean and the courtesy bus they used to have to and from Ala Moana is no longer. Check in was 3pm, yet at 3:30pm our room was still not ready. Apparently housekeeping were still working on it. Front reception couldn’t have cared less that we’d just come off a flight and we’re overdressed and hot. No offer of another room, a cool drink or compensation. Another thing- they don’t have any other milk but cows milk at breakfast. Not good enough in this day and age guys. We won’t be staying again. Very disappointing as we’ve stayed several times in the past years as a family and always had great memories.

They tried to overcharge me $1000 as soon as I checked in. I was able to prove that the rate I booked on hotels.com was way lower than what they said my rate was, and they did take it off. But I could have easily missed it, almost did.
The parking lot behind the hotel is like one massive party at night. Cars parked with lots of subs cranking their base. It rattled the room every night.
The staff were very nice and friendly.
The price is excellent for a family of 5, but not if the base is loud outside until 3 am every night. It Woke the kids up almost every night.
There was also a hole in the bathroom ceiling and the building is so old I worried about asbesto.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aqua Oasis! The staff were wonderful and the valet was super convenient, friendly and fast.
We stayed in room 1109 which has a wrap around balcony which was awesome as you could look out and see the ocean between the oceanfront hotels. Spacious room with a kitchenette was very handy as we brought some boxed food from home which we were able to cook and save some money.
Convenient location with walking to many shops and restaurants. Note that on Friday night it was loud as Waikiki is busy and everyone was out having a good time - we were able to sleep through it but if you have trouble with noise, ask for a quieter room (I think we heard more being on the top floor in the corner by the street).
The hotel is older, you can tell but we only had an issue with the shower head in which we were able to rejig it to stay in place just fine! My kids absolutely loved the toilet as it had a fancy bidet with heated seat.
Continental breakfast was nice to have - not a huge assortment but good enough! Bagels, toast, cereal, bananas/fruit and muffins along with coffee and juice.
Overall, we would stay here again and definitely recommend it!

this a low-budget hotel in a great location. beds are old and over-used. drywall has holes, the vanity top has cracks and the carpet and room look dirty. free breakfast includes only two kinds of fruits and breads and coffee and juice. the pool is slightly bigger than a kiddy pool. On the other hand, the staff are very patient and kind and hard workers.

We are family of 3 and stay for 6 nights. We really enjoyed our stay there. The location is so convenient and close to bus stop and the beaches. I especially love the balcony facing the Waikiki city view and the some ocean view from a little bit distance, it was lovely sit at the balcony enjoying the city view. Staffs are very friendly too. 😊
