The Candler Hotel Atlanta, Curio Collection by Hilton

You only get one time to make a first impression. The Candler made a wonderful one during my recent first stay. The hotel is well-appointed with spacious room accommodations. Its location is in perfect proximity to major attractions. The staff was lovely from point of arrival with valet service and bellhop support to concierge and bar service to hostess, wait staff and room delivery at By George, a lovely restaurant. Guidance for guests with small children and youth: preview the menu to ensure you find acceptable choices before dining. Might be challenging and costly for young, picky eaters.

This is one beautiful hotel. The Christmas decorations were very pretty. The hotel in all was very clean and seems to be well maintained. The front desk staff and gentleman that helped bring our belongings to the room were very polite and helpful. They offered wonderful customer service. The staff manning the valet was another case. We arrived at about 8 pm and waited for a while for someone to come out to assist. The two ladies were a little rude about what side of the street we were parked on (us and another vehicle of guests that just arrived). Then I heard them bad mouthing the other guests who had also been parked in the same area we were. It was highly unprofessional and flat out rude. I would understand if my family or the other guests had been rude to them but this was not the case. Other than that hiccup, everything else was great. We dined in the St. George restaurant that’s on site and it was tasty. It is a smaller menu and pricey, but good! We would definitely stay at the Candler Hotel again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, clean rooms, staff was both kind and quick to respond to questions. Front desk staff knowledgeable about the area amd dinong options for me and my family. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed with three of my children for two nights. Check in was quick and easy, valet was phenomenal and even remembered which vehicle was ours before looking at the ticket. Inside the hotel was very clean and fresh, my kids enjoyed the different varieties of the elevator music, and even made it a game to guess which genre we would be hearing when we would step in. Atlanta is a yearly trip for us, and we will definitely be staying again.

Spent a quick weekend in Atlanta for MLK holiday with our two elementary aged sons - man, what a spot! The Candler hit all the marks for us. Jerome was incredible with our kids, even took us downstairs to sneak a peek at the hotels hidden jem (*ask when you check in!) Hotel is an easy ride from the airport and Conveniently located to MidTown Area and Olympic Park, Great Restaurants nearby. We walked everywhere - Aquarium is less than 15min away as is the MLK National Park, both are a must if you visit the area and are history and animal enthusiasts. We will definitely be back to Atlanta and will not stay anywhere else! Perfect.

We only had one night here before visiting family north of Atlanta but we loved it. Will definitely stay again if we can. Beautiful hotel, comfortable room and bed. Bathroom was huge and spotlessly clean. We checked in very late and the attendant at the desk was so helpful and kind even in the middle of the night. We stayed to be walking distance to touristy spots for the next day. Very easy walk to the aquarium and other downtown tourist spots with plenty of places walkable nearby for food. Room service menu looked amazing but we didn’t have time to enjoy it.

My family and I spent a week at the Candler, and we loved it. The location is great, and the customer service is unbeatable. I especially want to thank valets Hassan and Kiros, and the By George waiter Jesus, for going above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.
