This motel was great for a quick trip to St.Augustine. The location was great! Not in historic district, but a leisurely walk over the Bridge of Lions had us there in no time. We were within very easy walking distance to many bars and restaurants which was my favorite part. The pool water was warm on a hot day and very small, but it provided a good time for my child who didn’t complain one bit! The front office staff was very kind and attentive, the room was super cute and well updated. The towels were soft and lush, the sheets were very soft and comfortable. The refrigerator, microwave, and in-room coffee bar were helpful as they provided us with bottled water, K cups, sugar packets and mini creamers. Next time I’ll bring a coffee mug for myself instead of using paper cups. There are two outdoor smoking areas, one of which is covered, which I appreciated even as a non smoker. My only real complaint was that the bare floor left my feet feeling dirty as if there were some kind of sand on them, however they didn’t look dirty at all. I will return to this hotel as the rates are fantastic for everything it had to offer.

A lovely little place to stay. A family business where the owners look after you. Opening the pool on request and even agreeing to accept a parcel for pick up on a return visit. Each visit sees the hosts show you to your room and show you the amenities while checking everything is in order. We love this hotel and recommend to anyone visiting St Augustine or needing a night stay while travelling north in Florida

This little gem exceeded all my expectations. We arrived in St Augustine late on a Saturday night and it was fully booked, drove 5 minutes over the bridge and found the Historic Inn on Anastasia Island.
I originally only wanted to stay one night, but after that one night, booked three more. It is family owned, clean, recently renovated rooms and super convenient to the historic area.
The owners were really helpful and attentive, and the rates were a third of those over the bridge.
Wow, will definitely return 5* review for these guys.

Simple family owned hotel but yet very convenient, clean and located right outside the bridge of the lions, or about 10-15min nice walk to st Augustine historic downtown. Would come again if budget is a concern.

After reading previous reviews, I was excited to book this property. Upon arriving, I could not have agreed more with the accolades given to the management/ownership. However, upon check in, nothing else measured up. The bedding was average. The room difficult to maintain temperature control. The large glass wall between the bathroom and the bed made turning on the light in the bathroom at night. Also light up the room. You can work around all of that. But I could not work around and I submitted to management was the fact that this also is a live in a hotel . Next-door to our room we had a 13 and a 16-year-old, unaccompanied by parents, that lived on the property. They kept the door open, at least half of the time upon our entrance and exit and the room was a complete travesty. On top of that they fought at least three times, slamming and yelling, disturbing us during the late afternoon and evening. The last time I almost called the authorities, but went to the office instead. These kids did not know where their parents were and they were not in control of themselves. It made for a very unpleasant and unwelcoming situation. If people are going to operate a motel that is advertised as a tourist hotel they should not also have it as a live-in motel.
Sometimes I just enjoy a quaint mom and pop, old style property. Unfortunately, I struck out this time.

Dimitri, the owner, was very polite and professional. Upon check in, he greeted us and walked us to our room. He made sure to make us feel welcomed and insisted on us letting him know if we needed anything to just ask him. We asked for more towels because we have a baby, and he even brought us an additional comforter since the weather was cold. I would stay again!

Our stay was great! When we book hotels the two things that are top priority are cleanliness and location to entertainment bars and restaurants. We found the rooms to be spotless with all the amenities that we would expect. It was a short 5 minute walk to the bridge and about 12 minutes walk to Historic St augustine. Great location! We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to our closest friends and family.

Older but updated family-run motel in walking distance from the main tourist area of St. Augustine. A bit of road and neighbor noise, but to be expected. A couple of restaurants and shops within steps including a bar/arcade/restaurant offering vegan grilled cheese! (and non vegan too) Overall, a good stay at a good price.
