This is an older motel. Some rooms have been updated others not. The old rooms are not good at all with very old carpet and battered furniture. We were given an old room first but we asked for something better. They were accomodating and gave us a room in the same building that the reception area is in. It was much better. Not hotel quality but adequate for a place to sleep while visiting family.

We needed a place to stay near family and this was hotel was perfect. It turns out, this was the hotel where wedding guests stayed for a cousin's wedding many years ago. The property isn't fancy, but it is well-maintained. We had a large room with a kitchen (microwave/fridge/sink/coffee maker/toaster/table & chairs); a full bathroom and a separate Jack-n-Jill vanity. The backdoor opened onto a patio overlooking the lake.Very nice, comfortable and relaxing.

I didn’t get to explore the place as I just needed a place to sleep between family events. It was quiet, clean, and I appreciated the mini coffee maker. Also appreciated the price as everywhere else I looked was outrageously expensive. A little far drive out for me but worth the savings.

The room was over-sized, 2 vanities, kitchenette, and a nice view of the lake with a small patio (ground floor) and outdoor chairs and a small cocktail table There was a very nice large pool. We did not use it but many families did. Just down the street is the best Italian Restaurant we've ever experienced, Sal's Italian, excellent food and service, excellent. Recommend the veal dishes...

We gave this hotel another try after 8 yrs of avoiding it due to a guest’s death and vagrants around the property the last time we stayed.
The hotel is close to family but we now realize that we’d rather compromise on the location that stay in filth.
The hotel has increased prices according to the economy but NO improvements have been made. The room smell musty, luckily the AC worked. The smoke detector was beeping. There were 2 phones in the room and neither one worked so we had to call the front desk from our cell. The person said he’d be up to fix it but did not come. We took it down and pulled the battery out and placed it in the back patio until the beeping finally stopped.
Then, after checking in and leaving for dinner, we came back to an unlocked room. The lock was not working. Our room was unlocked and open to anyone, unknowingly, for 3 hours. It took 3 calls to the office, again from our cell phone, to get someone to answer. The maintenance person came, spent 25 min standing with the door open to realize that the locking panel needed new batteries!
The inside of the coffee pot was carded and the toaster had crumbs caked on the top.
Although the size of the room was decent, the nasty floors, small bugs and hair balls in the towels was disgusting. We will never be going back.
