TRYP by Wyndham Orlando

First off, the area is pretty centrally located to seaworld. Not a far drive to Disney or Universal either. The pool is shared with a next door La Quinta, and there were lights that shine through the window of our room throughout the night. There were shades which helped slightly. The elevators were out of order throughout our stay. The housekeeping staff did not speak on bit of English and kept trying to come into the room even with the “do not disturbed” sign. There was blood on a pillow. There was paint in the bathroom on the ceiling that was a different color than the rest of the ceiling. The TV was very oddly not centered to the bed and made it very hard and awkward to watch tv in the bed. The bed itself was okay, however it was very low to the ground. I am 5’9 and the bed was sitting lower than my knee. The pool had loud drunken adults until after 11pm, the other two nights we stayed there were a combination of kids or adults at the pool well into the night. Strange enough the bar in the lobby was closed every night (we were here Thursday-Sunday). All of this to say, one of these issues alone, not a problem. But the issues began to add up, and with the numerous nearby hotels and air b&b’s in the area. It’s hard to overlook the many many issues.

Everything was fantastic & especially like the family room setup. But the breakfast option is not worth the money! That breakfast bar is what other hotels include for free with their stay. Will not fall for that again!

It's the bunk bed rooms, game changer for families!

Overall I had a good stay. The bed was okay but the pillows were super soft which is not my preference but a not huge deal for my short stay. Long hairs under the bed around the night stand so I think the cleaning folks just missed a few spots when vacuuming. Other than that no issues with the room. I do wish they max it so you can remove ladder to upper bunk if you don’t need it, but that’s the cost you pay when you have wild kids.

I booked this Hotel because of very goods reviews from the visitors and it was just what guests wrote. Clean, reasonable price, very good breakfast and service, kids friendly with heated pool was open till 11:00pm. Entry to the hotel is confusing if you follow Google map. I had comfortable stay.

We had the room with the bunk beds, What a great concept! Rooms were nice and clean. Travelled with two kids and although the kids ended up sleeping in the main beds, it was perfect for a family of six. Great price, great stay!

This is the only hotel we have found besides great wolf lodge that has 2 queens and bunk beds! No more fighting about who has to sleep on the pul out couch. This is our go to hotel in Orlando. Breakfast is extra but not bad. Current prices are $10 for adults and $7 for kids. In 2023 it’s all new looking and in great condition. Parking is free. There is a pool and hot tub outside.

Comfortable for families.

This was my first time at this property/hotel and it was a very quiet stay… which you barely get a good hotel lol. The hotel room was very nice and spacious, typical amenities that’s usually included standard. I believe breakfast had a charge but I didn’t eat anyways but it’s like $10/adult and $5/kid something of the sort, which still isn’t bad. My only complaint I would make is that the bathroom had a slighttt smell but it was nothing a little Lysol couldn’t fix lol. Besides that, a great 3 night stay for me here, I’d come again!

The bunk beds amazing idea for big families.
