Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami-Doral/Dolphin Mall

The stay was a nightmare, we rent 3 rooms with my family, I was traveling with 2 kids, never in my entire stay did they go to fix the room, with 2 children on the 4th day I didn't have any shampoo, soap or towels, we usually get up early and they asked me to shower later if I need towels, then when I complained they didn't want me giving the manager's details, really a nightmare. do not stay in this hotel

I liked that no one bothered us. Only issue was that some large families seemed to gather in the corridor late at night to converse, which kept us awake.

My family & I stayed there for 2 nights and the hotel was very welcoming & comfortable for our short stay. A varied breakfast was served each morning, wifi & parking was free and available plus the hotel is situated along an area where a lot of places for shopping, dining & recreation was within a short drive or walk away. I have stayed at other properties in the Doral area but I always find myself coming back to this Hampton Inn & Suites. The only drawback i find is that in most of my stays I find them doing the fire alarm testing which irk some guests but fortunately I get away for most of the daytime while that is done. I look forward to many more stays at this hotel.

We paid up front for a suite with 2 queen beds. When we checked into the hotel they said there was some sort of “computer glitch” and the room was not clean and available for use. We have 4 people in the family, 2 adults and 2 teens. They did give us a suite with one king bed and pull-out couch. However the pull-out couch is a love-seat size so it only fit one person. Our teens are full grown! 3 people sharing a King sized bed is not comfortable. There were no other rooms available and while I was at the desk someone walked up getting keys for two rooms he just extended earlier in the day. So somehow they oversold the hotel or didn’t have enough staff to properly clean the rooms. I complained to staff at the hotel and they asked me to talk with the manager which I did with no offer for any sort of compensation. They said it was an issue for Hotels.com since I booked through a third party. I used a Hotels.com reward night and chose to stay at this hotel since they had suites available. We were flying out the next morning so just disappointed the trip ended with a terrible nights sleep and the hotel was too busy to care. Also while waiting at the desk, a guest was complaining about bugs in her room. She called the front desk an hour prior, but they had not sent anyone to come take a look. We did not experience this and our room was clean, but another example of how they might have been understaffed and too busy to care.
