SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jacksonville

I was disappointed with the condition of my room (419) for my family. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock. The bottom of the tool was not clean and I was highly disappointed.

We decided to take a trip to Jacksonville when our power went out after hurricane Debby. We booked this hotel because it offed a suite and wasn't too expensive. Our room was ok. The room was spacious for our family of four. The bed was comfortable. The couch in the room was terrible. It sank in the middle and cushions were torn. Also the room smelled musky. We could never get the temperature right. It was either freezing or hot. The outdoor pool was ok. The pool and the hot tub were in bad need of some TLC. The water was murky and paint was chipping all around the edges of the pool. Breakfast was ok. The breakfast room was crowded and hard to move around with lots of people there. There wasn't a lot of places to sit as a family. Overall it was an ok stay for one night but not a hotel I would be ready to say in again.

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway with the family. Hotel its self was nice and staff was excellent. Customer service was beyond great. The rooms definitely need an upgrade. The carpet and sofa is very dirty. You can visibly see the stains in the dark colored sofa. The carpet need to be replaced because cleaning it will do no justice. It gives off a musty dirty odor when you walk in the room including the hallways. Outside of the odor, carpet, and sofa it was a nice stay for the weekend.

It was a nice little spot for our family to get a weekend away. Everything was clean in our room and worked as it should. The pool was a bit dirty so we didn't swim in that but overall we were happy with the place for what we payed.

Property was well-lit at night when we checked in. Only 2 towels in the bathroom and we booked for 4 people. Room was clean and AC was working well. We had scrambled eggs, sausages, coffee, kids had cereals for breakfast. Overall great hotel and experience. Thank you!

There was VERY LOUD music booming into the room until the wee hours of the morning … kept waking up the kids … kids were running and screaming down the hall with a yapping dog late at night for about 45 minutes … back and forth … woke the kids again … the pillows were AWFUL!!! There was no pillows, sheets or blankets for the pull out bed … the hot tub didn’t look too clean … the water was dark green and cloudy … the breakfast was very nice and everyone enjoyed it …

Traveled with my 2 small children and my wife. Safe convenient area close to a lot of things to do and see.

Nice walkable dog area, pool area was nice, breakfast was ample. We didn’t notice any loud noises from other rooms etc. We were traveling with our fur babies and the room had plenty of room, staff was warm and friendly regarding policy and there was plenty of safe space to walk them.

I didn’t take any photos. Our first room we went into smelled like weed. I went downstairs and let them know. And they had no problem moving me and my family to another room. The staff was very friendly and understanding. Also that was housekeeping to notify the first desk if the room smelled of smoke. But again the staff the was very friendly. And we really enjoyed our overall stay.
